re solder the circuit board...check wire connections

You may have failing power supply, I would have it repaired ASAP or unplug it, it may cause more damage to the TV.

The 2 long boards call the LCD inverter boards are dead.These 2 long inverters help the LCD screen to get a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those 2 long LCD inverters for the replacement.

If there is no power at all, and TV iscompletely dead, then it is either power cord or power supply.

If after the fault the TV went in standby and does not wake up, then the TV has on protect mode after detecting a fault.
When this happens higher voltages are shut down to prevent further damage

Before calling support ensure that you have followed the indications here Why my TV does not start up and remains in standby.

Troubleshooting basically consists in leaving the TV unplugged to drain power completely and discharge internal circuits.

If that does not work, then PSU must be tested following this procedure : A full test .... Job must be done by a technician.

Try first the troubleshooting proposed in link above. If that does not work, ring customer service.

Regarding the repair cost, this depends on the part that is defective. A common fault is the power supply, but this is not necessarily the problem.
The technician must test internal parts to find out why TV is in protect mode.

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, make sure the MUTE function is not activated, then check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks (Red and White) to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find.

It can be the power supply due to lacking the 12 (16) vdc for the sound and the 24vdc for the backlight inverter board. You need to check the output voltages on the power supply first, it can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR), main board, etc. Right now the standby 5vdc is working at least.

First place to look is to see if you are getting all the voltages the TV needs to function. Power supply will be the place to begin.

It's your time warner cable box not the tv

You need to check the power supply module to see if you do have 24vdc for feeding the backlight inverter board, if you do, then the problem can be in the inverter board or the main logic board is not sending the turn on command to turn on the inverter board.

The most common cause of Failure in this unit is power supply failure caused by failed capacitors. A visual inspection is The easiest way to identify and confirm bad capicitors on the power supply. Such a capacitor will show one or more of these symptoms: 1) Bulging of the vent on the top of the capacitor. (The 'vent' is the impression stamped in the top of the can. The impression forms the seams of the vent. Sounds like a problem with your backlights. Could be the inverter, the CCFL's, the power supply board, or even the main board causing it.

Sorry I did not understand what you meant by "screen is of center". Do you mean to say it is stuck in this mode. Like wide zoom, wide, center etc.,?Did you try changing the aspect ratio?
