Samsung TV - have sound/auto volume set to on.
Hello Blindrid,
What I would suggest you do is Press your MENU button on the tv remote, Then down to SOUND and then Turn the AUTO VOLUME to OFF. Then come out of the menu screen.
Just to check that it has all work correctly. turn you volume upto a certain number for example 25
Then turn your TV off the turn it back on. Wait until it is displaying a picture then press the volume button Once either up or down and you should see that it will go to 24 or 26 depending on what button you pressed for the volume. This will keep your volume set to whatever you had it on before you turned the tv off.
Hope this Helps Please leave a thumbs up.
Cheers

My sky remote only works part of tv
please follow the steps below:
TV
RED + SELECT
TV
0056
try the volume if this works then press SELECT to save the code. If not then press TV again then the volume. repeat this step until the volume works then press the SELECT button to save the code.
Right you said in your post that it only works part of the tv, what this is when you have saved the code into the remote it is very close but not the correct code for the LG Model you have. So imput the code as mentioned above but when your checking the volume dont press SELECT straight away try the help button. power button etc then save that code if it works them.
when it is the correct code you should be able to press the TV button then power = power . Help = changes av / source. Number button change channels etc. On certain tv's on a sky + or hd the pause/play changes the aspect ration on the tv aswell.
When this sorts you out please leave a thumbs up
cheers

HOW DO i REPLACE A 37LG30 SCREEN IT FELL WHEN i
Your going to need to LCD panel which you will most likely have to order directly from LG, chances are that it will cost just about the same as the TV brand new. Its fairly easy to change as long as u can remember where the circuit boards go from the old panel.

the main total assy is at fault. unplug the tv for 5mins and plug it back in. if it does not clear itself it needs factory service

Yes, it is possible the settings from your cable box maybe set to the wrong ratio eg:letterbox. Depending on what type of box you have, look in the cable box menu for a settings option, then change the aspect ratio to a different format.
