There are vehicle - specific adapter plugs for after market radio hook ups. These adapters are used to connect the original plug that was connected to the original radio with the new radio's plug. You didn't list what vehicle you have, year, model. You can do a web search with " (year and model of vehicle) radio wiring adapter". Hopefully you'll find the adapter for your vehicle.

Have to contact authorized kenwood dealer, they have a universal code.

get the "nissan to kenwood" factory converter harness available at best buy. but if you don't want to pay best buy prices, go to a local mega mall or swap-o-rama, and go to radio and sounds spot there

check make sure the radio wire at the back is plug in securely and all spker wire is not loose and touching the body of vehicle if you running an amp check wiring

Try pressing 'menu', scroll to "built in aux", and toggle to the 'on' position. Then the aux input should be available again. The radio losing power would have reset any internal memory causing it to go back to factory defalts. Hope this helps

It is an anti-thieft feature so the radio becomes worthless if it is stolen from the car. If you take your car to the dealer they can reset the radio. You will usually only need the registration from the car. They will usually charge a standard fee so call around for the best deal. The work will take approx. 30 seconds.
