you need to download dotnet.framework 2.0 from microsoft website assuming you are using windows xp .

When I couldn't find music files I went from the main menu to music to browse music - the last option on this menu - normally they would all be there ... If not you can go from the main menu to browse files which takes you straight to everything in your mp3 player, select music and the list would be there also.

The suffle playlist you have it on is probably only one album or artist or genre - from the main menu go to music and the last option is browse music - go here, press on the first song and it will play through your entire library. Every time you start it when you do this the song should start where you left off.

try using the usb..duh..ofcourse you use that..now try transfering the data..that will pop up if not see on ur computer the right down part of it..you'll see some kind of green arrow on top of something gray then try dobble clicking that..if not when you put in the usb there will be something on the computer screen you see there a window as in the internet window ok then you see a bar which can make it go down keep going down untill the last part you see a file picture there doble click that and see the music the pictures..etc..click the music or audio the single click the one you want to transfer..then press and hold it to the thing you want to transfer to the computer..get it...you press and hold then scroll the mouse out of the window then stop pressing the mouse you see the music out of the window now so that means its already in the computer...its pretty hard to explain but its easy to understand when you know it already and get the hang of it...

Download the emodio software, install and add files from DESKTOP!!!!! (copy there). Once into Emodio, click the arrow over to convert and transfer. Let it convert and try to transfer.....after it reports failed to transfer, go to default folder for converted file(win7 is documents/video/emodio/videos) copy to s3/s3/video.

Try the EmoDio software instead http://www.emodio.com/main.action

You can go to Samsung's website and go to the Support section to get that software. Because of the way that Samsung designs their website, I cannot give you a direct link, because they require you to manually enter in your model # before you can go on.

SOLUTION FOUND!!! NO DRIVER PROBLEM ...Right click on my computer,go down to properties ..next window click the hardware tab,then click on device manager...right click and goto properties on ALL your "usb ports"...goto power management and uncheck the power saving box for every usb port,and click ok,then restart.!

I had the same problem and an older PC using XP Professional. With a bit of research I found the corrective action.

1. The Samsung must be properly identified by windows as a storage device.
This is accomplished by obtaining the Update for WMDRM-enabled Media Players (KB891122) from Microsoft. The driver is a part of media player but it is listed seperately.

2. Once you have updated the driver the My Computer Should Identify a MTP Drive using the S3 as an identifier. You could drag and drop the data using the drive section or continue with the third step listed.

3. Reload the Samsung Media Studio and the S3 portable device will be enabled.

this is the solution !!!!!!
after the installation , the software should recognize ur device , and allow u to transfer videos
if not , try to reinstall emodio ,
after the 2nd installation , it will work completely
the software allows you to transfer videos to the mp3 ,
or at least convert them easily to .svi format , and then u can easily copy and paste them in your mp3

look for the manual

K, on day when i turned on my iriver, it says "system files missing, to restore the system files, connect H10 to iriver plus." so i connect it to iriver plus and the iriver says "USB connected" but iriver plus doesnt recognise t, like it is not connected, i have tried what other soloutions were given, but the iriver doesn't appear on my computer, but it does on safetly remove hardware, i have downloaded the newest version of iriver plus and it still doean't work. i cant get it to do anything now, not even turn off with =out takinging the battery out

this shoud do the trick, choose a manual and vieuw or download it.
