This is a dlp projector and has a bad DMD chip. Most models are very similar. Here is a video of a similar repair.

Temp and Lamp LED flashing 3 times shows it could be lamp or lamp ballast supply failure.
If projector showed you Lamp replacement Message while playing then replace lamp as it is available with Part Store, click that link for price info and if projector has not been used much to reach an end of lamp life then ballast supply would be defective that provides high voltage to lamp, in that case you need to call Optoma Customer Service, number would be written on projector documents for ballast supply replacement.
Click Optoma user manual and check page-42 for call numbers if you need a copy.

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)', optima to Optoma Question moved from Televisions category. You can only change the password if you know the old one. They are password locked to prevent theft. Any on the secondhand market are stolen from workplaces.

Hi, please check the serial number of the fans that are supposed to be the same. They might be different in some way because otherwise, the error should not have occurred. If the products have the same serial number or similar type of id, then I would take the projector to geeksquad/bestbuy to double check that the new fan was installed properly. Thank you.
