Hello, I am sorry about your issue. Did you make any changes to the output resolution on the Wii. The output must be at 480i for the receiver to up-convert to HDMI. If there is a problem with the receiver I suggest a work around by connecting the component [red,blue,green] video outputs to the TV and the audio connections [red, white] to the receiver. main board fault, its input feed on the board might be failing, it could also be a failing capacitor, you would need to open it up to have a look and see if there are any capacitors failing.

Hi AB, best way to accomplish this would be to go from the TV's audio output to any open audio input on the 606 and just be sure that you assign the source to the input. Have you tried powering it off fully (holding on/off button until it switches off) then leave it for 30 seconds, and switch it on again. hope this help.

Make sure Speakers A + B buttons are both pressed in. Run the test tones. If you can hear Test Tones then it's just a configuration issue.

Perhaps you just use a cable like this: use the tulip plugs and plug them into the AUX of the amplifier. Then at least you can play the music via the receiver.

Please be sure that you have turned on RIHD in the setup menu under Hardware and HDMI as that will set ARC to AUTO. Please also note that you will want to make sure that the HDMI cable going from the output of the receiver is connected to the HDMI input on the TV that shows ARC. Check the RCA cables. They might have been interchanged somewhere when you were plugging them in. If you have plugged them right, but still no video, try another cable. The first cable could be defective already.

Just telling because it happened to me... Is your optical cable connector well inserted? you have to appy a little pressure until you feel a snaping sound.
