How much money is a old Crosley radio worth model#7161

Better double check that model number. I can't find it anywhere. If it's a recent "retro", it's just junk. Generally, old radios vary widely in value depending on their year of manufacture, condition, styling, features, and rarity. Crosleys didn't tend to have much going for them other than cheap but there were some exceptions.

Do I need to replace the battery and buy a converter, or buy a completely new one? Is it completely broken?

Normal the high input voltage should influence the output voltage. The120V AC to 9V DC will be blown, but with a bit of luck, your Crosley cruiser will be ok. Only if the power convertor is poorly made, the high voltage could have gone through the convertor and then it damaged everything in the cruiser. Try a new 9V power supply and see what it does.

My crosley record player comes with built in speaker, but static noises and buzzing noises keeps coming for the speakers, what do I do?

Hi Quite often this can be due to the volume control rather than the speakers. What sort of noises due you get if you rotate the volume? Do the noises change and is there a particular setting of the control where the noises go away? If so this indicates the volume control. If not it may be the speakers. Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

How do you fix a plug on a stack o matic turntable

I suspect this plug is the power connector. If you can't find a replacement plug, it would require the two wires to be connected inside the other unit. It might be best to take it to a Crosley repair dealer.

Crosley 2521

You need to get a special connector. Image of the type below. The red and white connectors connect to the RED (right) & WHITE (left) connectors of the turntable. The yellow is for video. Search Amazon for it. 41fdf368-dc49-49a7-97a0-97320892c76c.jpg

I bought a crosley cruiser turntable (orange portable) in NY USA. I brought it to Dubai UAE, plugged it in and the voltage was too high. It "cooked" Can this ever be repaired and if so what needs to

As with most things it depends on how much you are prepared to spend on getting it fixed and how much a new turntable would cost. It's likely that damage is extensive and that the transformer would need to be replaced. If more of the power supply section is damaged then the bill will run up quickly. A look inside will give you an idea of the damage. If lots of parts look burnt or damaged, I think you can call it a day with it. If it looks good then contact Crosley for a list of authorised service centres.

Needle jumps on all new vinyl, but plays old records fine. New vinyl plays on other turntables without a problem. Do you have any suggestions?

Adjust the balance force up. This is a counterweight on the back of the arm. For most needles it is 1-2 grams.

Could need a new belt. Since there is no adjustment otherwise, that's the only choice.
