Hello,the problem is as a result of software corruption. Your phone operating system is corrupt for one reason or the other. The phone operating system might have gotten virus through bluetooth transfer, internet browsing or via the memory card.To solve the problem, you need to flash the phone . Flashing the phone means reinstalling the phones operating system software files. The phone will be fully formatted and a fresh operating system files will be reinstalled.You can use software updater to flash the phone. Download software updater from sonyerricon.com. Install it on your computer, open the software updater, connect the phone via usb cable to your computer. Allow the computer to recognize the phone, then click update. did you try charging the phone? if after trying that you still have the same problem, remove the battery, replace it. then press and hold the power button and release. maybe you're holding it down for too long and it goes back off afterward

Hello there,

If your screen is blank but the keypad lights up it shows that the phone is alright but the screen is faulty. If the screen looks broken that confirms it all, but if it does not look broken, then it means the ribbon connector that connects the screen to the main board of the phone has a loose connection and need to be reseated properly.

To do that will require you to disassemble the phone and reseat the ribbon connector or replace the screen depending on your choice.

you should probably take the phone to your network provider

seems like your firmware got corrupted, use sony ericsson software updater (download from SE website) to update your firmware else you need to re install new firmware with help of professionals.

that probably happens because the phone you have it locked to a particular network, and the sim card you have is not for that network. you can find free sites online which enable you to unlock your phone. if you still need help, message me, and i'll see if i can find you one
