Motorola Mobility MOTORIZR Z8 Cellular Phone Questions & Answers
Can my moto z8 open
Your phone is running Symbian OS, so I'm pretty sure it can! As far as I know, there are full office software packages available for that os, but I've never used Symbian myself. My advice to you is to visit these two sites (google them): ModMyMobile and MobileModding.US, there are subforums dedicated to the Z8 on both, you will find the answer to this and any other Z8 related question there!

I have bought this phone together with a sim card,
The cell phone's number is provided by the cell phone service provider together with the SIM card.
If the existing SIM card is a prepaid SIM card you will need to purchase a new pre-paid SIM card from a cell phone service provider and a cell phone number will be allocated to this SIM card.
OR
Purchase a cell phone plan with a cell phone service provider and you will get a new SIM card with an allocated cell phone number.

My screen is blank, what can i do
Hello ! If the screen of your phone is black and the phone is turned on means that the communication foil ( like a cable but more flexible that make possible the communication between phone and display ) is moved from the right position or might be burned from liquids spilled on the phone. You can get helped at a GSM service. Sorry !

My phone is restarting over and over again.... I
Hi, the problem you are having is with the phones firmware you will need to take this phone into a phone shop and have the phone flashed and the firmware re-installed, the problem with this is you can only have it done at a phone shop as they need to install all the software back on the phone and the other problem is that this will wipe the phone so you will lose anything on it.
you can back it up if you have the leads to your computer and the correct pc suite for your make of phone if you dont have this just ask the phone shop to back it up for you.
their is no other way of doing this as you cant get the firmware and re-install it yourself the phone shop will charge you for doing this but it will be cheaper if you go to one of those independant shops instead of one of thos bigger branded ones.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

My motorola z8 does not charge, says incorrect battery,
Did you replace the battery with one that is specific for the phone? If you take the phone into your service provider, most places have tests that can be performed on both the phone and the battery to ensure they are both functional. A factory default reset may need to be done, which in the current condition of the phone, can only be done in a service shop. Good luck!

I have motorolla z8 and my problem is that phone
Hi,
When a phone turns off like that there two things you need to look out for:
The battery,
The phone memory.
The battery might be the problem, if the battery cellis too weak and will need to be charged for longer hours for it to come up to be power the phone again.
The phone memory can also cause the phone the go off, if the memory has tampered with either by VIRUS or any application error.
You will need to appliy the first option,so we can be able to know the exact problem of the phone.
Take care.
