Hi,i got this from Nortel expert and it works:- press feature **266344- user ID: 738662 Press ok- Password: 266344 Press okTerminal & Extensions will appear- press Call Timer button 1 timewrite your extension or the extension you need to configureor press find till you find the extension you need- press Call Timer button 1 time- press Ring Again button 4 timesRestrictions will appear on the screen- press Call Timer button 1 timeRestrn Filter will appear- press Ring Again button 1 times- press Call Timer button 1 timeFilters will appear- press Call Timer button 1 timeNormal 02 will appear ( it can be any 2 numbers)- press CHANGE which appears on the screenType 00and then press the end call button

How to Change a Mailbox Password
1. To access the voice mail system press Feature.
2. Press 9 8 3.
3. When you see Log: enter ~ SETNNA (738662) and press OK
4. Pswd: CONFIG (266344)
5. Press "MBOX".
6. Press "CHNG".
7. Enter the mailbox number you wish to reset.
8. Press "Reset".
9. Press "Rls" to exit (orange button to the right of the number buttons).
Default password is "0000".

Reset the Memory Button.

1. Press the "feature" button followed by "*" then "1."
2. Press the memory button that you would like to reset.
3. Press the "OK" button to reset the button. Now that this memory button is reset, it holds no information.

When you activate the second line with your service provider tell them that you need both lines to come through the same jack. Then simply connect a line to each of the connections under the device and you are good to go. Call ID and other features are all setup automatically

What you need is a complete user guide to help you reset the phone system from scratch. Here are 2 links to help you download literature which can prove really helpful for you. Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions)
Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password.

Feature 985 will show you the extension of the phone you are using.

Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions)
Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password.

Feature 985 will show you the extension of the phone you are using.

You may need to change your Ring Volume. Here are some instructions on how to do so.

To Change your Ring Type:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 6
2. Press the number keys 1 – 4 to hear the different ring types
3. Press the OK softkey when you hear your desired ring
To Change the Ring Volume:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 80
2. Press the volume key up or down
3. Press the release key1 to exit and save the volume level
