Polycom VSX 6000 (220022222001) Video Conference - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Microphone not getting connected Changed interface
Try changing the wire. Must be the 30 foot cable not the 10 foot which is specifically the daisy chain ... The former 30 foot is the specific cable from codec to mic. If changing this fails and you tested the mic, then your unit is either suffering corrupted software or the mic hardware is damaged. David
3 way video conf
Your VSX 6000 does not support Multipoint. YOu will have to move up to the VSX 7000 or 8000. The VSX 7000 supports MP and the VSX 8000 supports 6 site mp if you have that option installed. DAVID
How solve in my POLYCOM VSX 6000 showing error "unsupported signal adjust your PC output"
Try using the S-Video output and then try using the VGA output from the VSX 6000 unit. The unit can be fixed to output from either as the first monitor output (you may have the dual monitor option enabled). If this does not work the resolution of the TV might be HD, the output of your VSX 6000 is Standard Definition. You will need a monitor that accepts standard definition. If this does not work, I would reboot your VSX 6000 and try again. David
VSX 6000 - Time Server doesn't work
it is not able to resolve the IP address for the time server. I am having the same problem. If you enter in the IP address for the time server it will resolve your problem
Polycom voicestation 300
are you sure this feature is not blocked on your line? check with another phone connected to the same socket if you can dial the same numbers
Upgrade failed
The easiest way to fix this is to have use TFTPD32 and set the firmware in the default directory so that when the phone boots it gets its DHCP with Option 66 from the machine running TFTPD32 and automatically pulls the firmware
Add an inline volume controller
Unless you are good a solder then you probably won't be able to do it. You wolud need to solder a potentiometer inline of the + voltage to the speaker. Or solder one inline with the existing one. Potentiometer = voltage control aka volume control.

MY Polycom SE-220 was working fine, then line one
HI. sorry to hear that. Well, here's the solution
Settings should be changed, if it did not resolved the issue? check your coverage area and lastly go and seek a technician to have your device check and re evaluate the condition the mouthpiece or earpiece needs to be replace.
Please accept my solution..thanks
SONIM XP 3800 VOICEMAIL INDICATOR STAYS ON BUT,NO MESSAGES=?
TRIED POWERING OFF-PROBLEM STARTED 2/WEEKS AGO.
1. First, try resetting your phone by powering it off completely and then turning it back on after a few seconds. This can sometimes resolve minor software glitches.
2. If the problem persists, you can try contacting your mobile service provider and ask them to reset your voicemail on their end. They might be able to resolve the issue from their system.
3. Another option is to manually check your voicemail and listen to any existing messages. Sometimes, even if you've listened to a message, the indicator might stay on. By checking your voicemail and ensuring there are no unread messages, it might help clear the indicator.
If none of these steps work, it could be a more complex issue that might require technical support from Sonim or your mobile service provider. They should be able to provide further assistance. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!
