Just bought a Weber Genesis II LX Model S-340 Natural Gas Grill. The plumber installed a 54' line, 1" in diameter. The grill will only heat up,to 400 degrees. What could be wrong?.

If he really installed a 54 foot line instead of a 54 inch line, the line is way to lone. The gas pressure isn't high enough to supply enough gas to the grill to get any hotter.

Bought a Weber kettle grill at the weekend and when assembled it is at an angle - checked the legs and have assembled to the instructions?. Any answers?

https://www.cooksillustrated.com/how_tos/6519-properly-assemble-a-weber-charcoal-grill-that-wont-collapse I would find an image of the specific model of Weber that you have. Maybe several images of different angles of this. Those images may reveal what has gone awry. Some of those images may be at sites selling them, others obtained by a Google IMAGES search. Low flame on my weber grill. I have reset the regulator and it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Did you check to be sure the seal in the regulator is intact? When you "reset" the regulator did you open all the control knobs to blled out the gas line? Also is this the original regulator that came with your grill?

I"ve got a Weber Genesis and it has three burners. One won't light with the starter but it lights if I ignite it. What can I do to the third burner rod to get it to ignite

Your zapper igniter is only to ignite one burner and that burner lights the other burner and so on. Follow the directions inside the left door and do it in the propper sequence and it should work as it suposed to.

Weber gas grill heats up high when on low settings

After making sure your knobs are installed properly examine the full length of all burner tubes. You will be looking for areas of corrosion or damaged metal. Holes that are larger than they should be will cause too much LP expulsion resulting higher temperatures. Replacement parts, schematics, customer support and much more is available at the official Weber site. https://www.weber.com

My Weber Spirit grill won't light. It will light manually, so I know it is getting gas, and the igniter sparks so I don't understand what the problem can be.

The igniter could be dirty or out of position and not catching the gas to light

I've found a colony of redback spiders inside the knob of my weber Q...how do I get the plastic knob off to clean it out? [And how do I protect it from another colonisation?

It depends on which model you have as there are numerous different designs going back decades. So please indicate the model, the location of the knob in question and posting a picture would also be handy.

Grill wont come on,

Stephan, repeat what you did before. Except, this time leave the hose disconnected for 5 minutes, before reconnecting it. Also, open the tank valve VERY VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow) until it's fully open. Then light the burner farthest from the tank first and set it on HIGH. If it lights and the flame height looks correct, light the remaining burners the same way. If all the burners lit and the flame heights appear normal, you solved the problem. ALWAYS, open the tank valve very, very slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem, then you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can pick one up at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories for about $30.00. Be sure to take the old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!!
