Blocked print head nozzles Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles. Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles. After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required. Also try - Removing the print head, run it under hot water for 2 mins, then let soak for 10 min. then used a can of compressed air to dry thoroughly. It may fix the blocked nozzles. A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.

1. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Tools displays on the control panel, and then press OK .
2. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK .
3. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Clear Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK . A message that says the fax memory is clear displays on the control panel.
4. Press the Cancel button ( ) to exit.

Inkjet printers are always cheaper to replace than to repair. You can get pretty decent quality out of $100 printers, dont spend much more than that and get the extended warranty because places like bestbuy will just replace the printer without even servicing it. If you want more of a workhorse invest in a laser printer, they are definetly worth it. There isnt much difference in brands in my opinion so buy whichever you prefer.

You can remove the HP Solution from the "Add/Remove Programs" in WinXP or "Programs and Features' in Vista or Win7 if you want to completely remove it from the system. HP Products installed on your system are installed separately so you can just remove the solution center without harming the HP printer functionality.

Or if you don't want to remove it, just open the MSCONFIG and uncheck all HP related service and startup. This will make sure that the HP software will not run.

At first, you could check your usb port to see if you have some hardware connection problems. The usb connection could be loose. Then, make sure you have the printer driver properly installed on your laptop. You may need to follow the printer quick setup guide.

your fax RX memory is full and needs to be cleared however this should not stop you from sending transmission TX immediately however if you are going to send a memory fax you will have to clear the memory for machine to be able to store the TX you are trying to send
