Is a PAL signal being put into an NTSC projector or vice versa? If not then look at a color wheel problem.

Check the power supply , it can be a fault on the power being inadequate or there is an error to the processor that seems to cut off power. try and check the lamp connections, check the lamp door switch, the filters- clean if dirty

there is a shot off circuit that shots off to prevent the lamp from getting hot.. This circuit can be malfunctioning ...

But I'm thinking that the bulb can need replacing ,, or that the solders close to the bulb need resoldering.. In any case it will cost you a whole hell of a lot cheeper to repair it rather than a new one..

That the only reasons I can think off ,, off hand without exactly examining the machine..

the lamp has reached the end of it's life. replace it and reset the lamp timer (through the menu).

proable solution the cooling fan is giving problems. the whistling sound most likely is fan rubbing on a wire??? The unit gets over heated and turns off for protection. Good luck

You will have to go into the menu system and find the controls for the red, green and blue guns and adjust the red and blue guns to counter the green.

Atypically if this is an older projector and has seen a lot of use you will start to experience the degradation of luminescence in the tubes.

Resolution: If the adjustments do not resolve the color issue, you will need to have one or more guns replaced. The economics of this replacement point to a new projector.

Check to make sure that the auto shutdown is turned off. This should prevent any further problems.
