Cost more than it's worth; If you can find it. Your best bet would be to find the same TV being sold for parts and swap screens. Check EBAY and Craigslist.

Hi,
Please Reset the tv by pressing the "System Reset Button" on the front panel with a pointed object such as pencil or paper clip.
Try again the unit. Let me know the status of the LED light (Power/timer led, Status led, Lamp led) in the front panel if still the symptoms persist.

have you set your settings for 720p on your xbox then turn the tv on to the right input then turn the xbox on? i had that issue with a previous tv? does the lights on your xbox just spin around?
The only way to reset on a lock code on a Mitsubishi TV is going to be reseting the unit. I believe this unit is reset by holding down the power button for 10 seconds while the unit is turned on. As for the remote being the only way to turn the TV on, does the button on the front of the unit stick, or seem 'smushy' when you press it?
The first question i need to ask is Have you removed the bulb to check to see if it has blown. If there is no visable signs that it is bad then replace it and make sure the door is secure. Secound thing you can do is retrieve the error codes. To do this press and hold MENU and INPUT button on the front of set. The timer light will flash then pause then flash again denoteing a 2 digit code. this will maybe point the way to possible problem
Sounds like your lamp/bulb is about ready to die. Here is a google shopping list for some replacements if you choose to DIY. http://www.google.com/search?q=Mitsubishi+WD-60735+replacement+bulb&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a#q=Mitsubishi+WD-60735+replacement+bulb&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=XxY&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=ivns&source=univ&tbm=shop&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=k7KtTZP4A4jk0QGYm6jHCw&ved=0CHwQrQQ&biw=1366&bih=650&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=30e0fb8dc28dda8 Also if you need help on the DIY just come back. But a detailed reinstall can be found in the manual starting on page 75 which if you don't have can be found here:http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/pdf/ownersguides/WD-60735.pdf. Also on that page is a part number and phone number to get replacement direct from Mitsubishi. Good Luck!
You must locate your bulb (usually from the front lower cover of your tv). Some tvs the bulbs are reached from the back. Bulb replacement is about a 30 min job (if you're fast at taking screws out).
Here is a video of putting your NEW bulb in the OLD housing:
Just locate your old bulb, watch the video and you'll be running again in no time!
If you have a timer light blinking and won't stop the problem is not actually with the timer. It means that the two micros in the TV can't agree that all is okay to start TV. About the only thing you can try is pressing the reset button on the TV's front panel. Just a momentary press, you don't need to hold it down. The button is recessed so you will need a pen or paper clip to press. What should happen if TV is working properly is light should blink for about one minute and then stop, then you can turn on the TV. If light continues to blink set will not come on and you would need to get it serviced, there are many parts inside that can give the same symptom.
Hi:
This is an indiccation that your lamp has failed, replace the lamp and you will be good to go, If you heard a pop this was the lamp shattering in its enclosure. Just replace you lamp.
good day...the burnt smell seems to be coming from the PCB at the back of your TV.... it is an indication that there is a bulgy capacitor in the power supply section.. if you can dismantle the back casing and check for electrolytic type capacitors that seems to be bulgy...try to replace it w/ same type.....then test run if your tv works now...seek assistance from a certified technician..
As soon as the set is powered up after replaceing the lamp. The set should bring up the screen that asks if you have replaced the lamp. Just select yes and that resets the lamp life.
Hello Sir, Hi, The reason why the TV is shutting off, is due to overload. A part or a board inside the TV becomes shorted or maybe foreign objects inside is causing the problem. This may also be caused by a faulty power supply board or loose screws that holds a circuit board. SO have this checked by a technician. If the Power supply board is the reason(usually). A replacement board is necessary. This is no DIY job.
