Have you tuned the channel frequency tuner? Use the remote to bring up setup menu on TV, scan channel frequencies & save. If it's an old TV that can't pick up digital signals, then you need to get a digital set top box & tune to TV.

Have you ever replaced lamp? I would replace lamp with an OEM mitsubishi lamp assy and re-intialize set in service menu. That should fix it

error 1,2 is no error found---if you unplugged the set it will clear another error and you will get 1,2 error.If the set has another issue turn it on and let it fail, then do the self check again.

It is quite possible that you bought a defective lamp. Although it is possible that the door monitor switch could be faulty - it is highly unlikly. If you find the lamp is not defective, then check continuity on your wire harness. Should be FD i think. If checks ok, then it is possible you are not getting a good on command from the light engine.
