probably audio amplifier IC damaged need to be replaced

It is just that main unit is looking for the "Wireless sub-woofer" and shows this message when it can't find the sub.
wireless connection between main unit and sub should be reset.

On page 17 of the user manual, it shows how to connect your wireless subwoofer and does say if it does not connect then you will need the remote control. Here is what I found:

"If the main unit doesn't make wireless connection, the system needs ID Setting between the main unit and wireless subwoofer. With the main unit turned off, press the remote control's "0""1""3""5" number buttons and the unit will turn on. With the wireless subwoofer turned on,
press ID SET button on the back of the unit for 5 seconds"

Consult its directions to see if it has a variable audio output, then use it.

I had the same problem. but if you dont put your files in folders it will work. after firmware upgrade it couldn't read folders and it is a stupid thing.

if you have already inputed the code into the universal remote specific to the device then all the functions are contained in that code, there is no seperate function codes just one master code should make every thing work, I had this exact problem with another remote, everything worked but not the sound bar, replaced the remote with another brand and it worked

Purchased a x810 & everything tests out fine except TV signal sounds from cable box. We have the Comcast cable box connected to the 50" Samsung Plasma TV hooked up to Samsung x810 Soundbar all using HDMI cables. But we are not getting cable shows sound through Soundbar. Please advise

Have you tried other DVD's...you might have a bad one.

If so,,,you may need to clean the laser diode. You'll need cottonless swabs (no lint swabs) and Isopropyl alcohol 99%.

Might be hard to get to, depending on the model, but gently swab the diode lens. Don't saturate it tho.

you can connect the audio output pin in tv R/L channel and in sound systems audio R/L input
and put the sound system in line-in mode..........try

On the rear of your TV connect, with a phono/RCA cable to the Audio R + L sockets, connect the other ends to your Yamaha using the TV in sockets. See photos attached Hope that helps. HDMI is for video unless the extra pins are added for audio.
