Have you tried a hard reset??

Router rebooting is usually caused by excessive heat or power supply issues. Make sure that there is adequate ventilation all around your router and try a different AC outlet.

No there isn`t. Try to reset the router with the little hidden 'Reset' button on the back(just push it once and hold it that way until the indicator lights change) and try again. If it`s still not working, you`ll have to change your computers IP address to 192.168.0.X (X = 2-255).Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Change adapter settings(on the upper left side), right click on the adapter and select properties. Highlight the Internet Protocol version 4 and click Properties. After your done setting it up change the settings back to 'Automatic'.

the gt724wgr, is a DSL modem. You may need to contact your dsl provider for the username and password for your dsl, all the step by step instructions are located in the manual which you can download at this link:

You Will Have to Disable the Firewall In Your modem / Router

And IF it is a router then Open The Ports

• TCP 80
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074
• UDP 53
• TCP 53

And Also Make sure that UPnP is Enabled

you can login to the Actiontec modem by typing the ip address of actiontec modem in the address bar of Internet explorer...
It will open the interface of actiontec modem...
In the Interface of actiontec modem you will have option for wireless...
If you look under wireless setting you will be having the wireless mode as 802.11b/g/n or just B/G/N....

Change this wireless mode to OFF...
Thats it you are done...

By default the ip address of action tec is 192.168.0.1
