go to my document folder of ur phone then my ringtones n just copy the tone u like in it n then go to settings > sounds n notification > notifications > then u will get ur tone in the check list of all the tones n select in event > new text message alret n then just done

If you dont have the disc... you need to go download windows mobile center. you can find it easier by searching google, for that particular phone the lastest update you can go up to is windows mobile 6.1

Well i sorry that has happen to you. It seems you have to hard reset your device

Too do that:

1. remove the battery cover.
2. observe that by the USB port, there is a small indentation. This is the reset switch access.
3. Keep the slider closed.
4. power the phone on.
5. press the "talk" and "end" buttons; while holding them down, use the stylus to probe into the reset switch hole at a 45 degree angle to the major axis of the phone.
6. when you get to the "press enter to reset the phone" page, press the center dpad.

That should fix it. You will lose all your data and contacts sorry to say
