Problems with comfort zone II
You have changed out thermostat but not the fualty wireing to the thermostat that is the cuase for this problem, You need to have the wrie check for fualts in order to rectify this situation. I know because I worked on them before and there is no way it could not be working if you got new thermostat put in each zone, See the wire the goes from the thermostat could be old it also could be worn out, have a tech check this as I would if I were diagnosing a thermostat!!

Cost to replace carrier 38ckc060
Did your unit work last summer? 10 Years old is very soon unless it is a cheap unit like janitrol or goodman. Most units last min. 15 years and 20 most of the time. Generally speaking any ways. To replace compressor cost maybe 750.00 to 1,000.00 you have a big house looks like. 5 Ton unit. The whole system could be 6000.00 to 8000.00 depending on grade of unit. I would get a second opinion though cause I am wondering if they are just padding their pocket.

The model numbers change. You have a 3 ton system. The make and model that you replace it with is not nearly as important as a quality install.Do your homework on picking a contractor that you can trust.Have them do a load calculation to make sure a 3ton system is right for your house.13 seer is the minimum you can get.You need to weigh the projected annual savings of higher seer units against the added cost of having them installed.Again, get a contractor you trust and go with the best warranty.None were stupid questions.

Apu starts fine but no
Hi there, Would this be a preheat / comfort pro APU? If so I would start with removing the top cover on the APU. There will be a fuse holder with a 20 amp fuse on the back wall on the left side of the APU above the APU controller. Check and see if the fuse is blown. If it's not then the CCU board under the bunk/ bed isn't seeing power. Either 12v harness or the communication harness both from the APU controller to the CCU board are rubbed on the frame, or the CCU board isn't transferring power properly. The CCU board is under the bunk. There are 4 3/4 bolt's that hold the lid on. Start the APU and look at the board you should have green light's light up. these light's are called input light's. Then chose a function on the driver control panel as in heat, a/c, low or high fan and see if they come on. If the driver control pane are showing the function on look down at the CCU board and see if there are orange light's on. these light's would be your output light's. There's a lot of cause's for this problem if you need further help feel free to ask. Thank's
How to connect a six wire blower motor to a four wire blower motor.
It is not possible to directly connect a six wire blower motor to a four wire blower motor because they have different wiring configurations. However, you may be able to modify the wiring to make it work, but this would require a thorough understanding of electrical circuits and potentially void the warranty of the blower motor.
If you are not familiar with electrical systems and wiring, it is recommended to consult a professional electrician or HVAC technician to ensure safe and proper installation. They will have the necessary knowledge and expertise to assess the situation and provide suitable solutions.
