Washer won't empty and spin

You either have a blocked water pump or more likely a blocked diverter valve. Easy to fix if you are handy. Tip machine back on a 45 degree angle and let rest against the wall. It is a matter of disconnecting a coupe of clamps and twisting the pump counter clockwise.

Washer stops during rinse cycle and beeps at me

see this causes and fix it. God bless you Lid Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design. Water Inlet Valve If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem. Main Control Board If the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components. Timer If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer. 10_2_2012_12_59_16_pm.jpg

My machine WA37T26G Fisher & Paykel has no power, it will not turn on.

Hello, welcome to Fixya! The unit not powering on is an indication that it has a power fault.First, remove the machine's power cord from the wall, wait for about 30mins, then plug it back in. It may cool by then and might power on. If it doesn't power on, plug it into another outlet, to make sure there electricity entering into the unit.If plugging into another power outlet doesn't power it on then the unit is most likely having a power problem. When electric current comes from the power outlet into the machine, it goes straight into the power supply board which then circulates the current into the unit. So if the machine doesn't power on, the first thing is to make sure there is power entering into the machine. So check the power cord, if it is a 3-pin plug, it must have a fuse in it. check the fuse if it is not blown. if fuse is intact, then power supply board should be checked. If any machine or electronics device doesn't power on, it means its having a power problem. It might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.This machine must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the machine turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter and continuity tester in order to read the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store within our vicinity. You might also find visible bad component without testing with a meter. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.I wish you the best of luck.Regards.

Cold Water Faulty Valve is

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry, this FixYa Washer Forum does not supply service centre numbers, engineers, spares or prices; it is just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home, from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
Also members on Fixya are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer at all, just using their experience gained probably over many years.

You will either have to search in your local telephone directories OR stay on line and search for '(make) washer service' for instance or '(make) washer spares' and hope that you can find someone reasonably local.
Sorry again ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Water will not drain after wash cycle

HI, check the following to address this issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

**The most common issue will be an obstructed hose or, line
