I don't know that vac specifically but it seems to be a low end hand held vac. There is no spec for the battery that I found. That usually means they use a cheap rechargeable and I think the problem is the battery. I would contact the mfr since it is less than a year old. They can verify that from the serial number. If you buy another one, look for a NiMH or a Li Ion battery pack. It will cost you more but it will last a lot longer. Hope that helps.

take it in for a warranty check if the period is a year warranty

change the battery pack

Has the hose at the clearer head gotten clogged with carpet fibers, that is the common reason for this.

Try cleaning the filters. Empty the dustbin. Check for clogs. If that doesn't help contact the manufacturer. ??

Are the prongs on the plug bent or damaged?

Start with the power cord and the switch and follow the power flow down to the motor.

To use the hose attachment, first lift the black plug (above the nozzle side of the vacuum). Next remove the belt from the motor shaft using the belt lifter. Hook the belt on the left side of the shaft and rotate clockwise. Pull the belt gently towards you. See picture 6 (and Part A) of the manual; I've provided the link below. The belt lifter was included if your vacuum came with the attachments. If you need one, that is part 1880262000. Once the belt is removed, depress the spring clip on the end of the hose. Align the spring clip with groove at the bottom of the opening. Line up the hose and push it into the cavity where the belt was. Pull gently to ensure that the hose is secured to the vacuum.
