Dirt Devil M0105 Bagless Vacuum - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Dirt devil ultra not sucking up debrie. nothing is filling up the canister
Almost always you have a blockage somewhere. It is not always easy to get to each and every nook and cranny of the suction passageways.
Typically some piece is blocking, and that means reduced air flow, which means overheated motor... Do not run for long with this blockage.
Think in terms of air flow, your answer will likely be there.
Cheers,
Doc

How to use attachments on a dirt devil edge wedger
You didnt specify the model number, so I'll limit my answer to most common.
On most upright vacs, you disconnect the hose running to the floor pickup and attach the crevice tool (or whatever else you have) to the end of this hose. You then continue cleaning with the hose end atrachment.
I would imaging the Dirt Devil Edge Wedge is similar.
Dirt not going into vacuum canister on dirt deval
It sounds like there is a clog in the hose itself if you have no suction from the end. If it is bagless remove the canister from the machine or if it is a bagged machine remove the bag. If you have a shop vac attach the hose from the shop vac to the end of the hose of the dirt devil and try to suck the obstruction out that way. Sometimes it is possible to remove the clog this way. You can tell if you have suction from the debris port to the bag or the canister. If not you may need to use a snake or coat hanger to pull the clog through.
I have a Dirt Devil Power Express lite. I really Love it but the Brush won't spin anymore. What can I do to fix it?
Hi there, a few different solutions....
flip it over and remove the screws, take a piece of paper and draw a diagram of how the screws are placed. place the screws on the paper as they were in the vacuum. remove any screws needed to free the brush, remove trash and her from the brush- scissors will help a bit- put it back together and give it a try, the other solution it to check the motor that spins the brush it may be dealt driven or gear driven or a direct drive- I don't wanna tell you more because you are a consumer and dirt devil did not want you taking it apart because its unsafe if your not sure what your doing and id feel bad if something happen to you..
