TRADITION 2250 SINGER SEWING MACHINE HOW TO ZIG ZAG

From the pattern selector (the bigger dial), select the zig-zag stitch. Then, using the stitch length dial (the smaller dial), adjust the stitch length. The closer your stitch length is to "0", the more dense will your zig-zag stitch be.

How do I align the hook race once it has fallen out of alignmnet?

The first thing you will need to do is locate the screws that loosen the hook so that you can realign it. They are usually two Allen screws (may be 1 or 3, but typically 2) located just on the other side of the gear that drives the hook. Generally, you will have to remove the bottom to access the gear. Loosen, but do not remove those screws, just until you can move the hook by hand. Thread the needle, and lower the needle to its absolute lowest point; then with a measuring tape, bring the hook EXACTLY 1/2" away from the needle counterclockwise, and tighten one of the screws. Insert the bobbin case and bobbin and check to make sure that the top thread will catch the bottom thread. If it does, tighten both screws, and you're done.

Bobbin housing has come out, I cannot get it back together

Hi This machine uses the standard class 15 bobbin. It sits inside a bobbin case that has a finger that needs to be located in a retaining slot. It the whole lot, bobbin, case, hook assembly and retainer have come out simply turn the machine over so that these parts can be fitted downwards. fit the hook, then the retainer and lock it into position. Put bobbin into case pull thread under spring. Lift tab on case and put it over the hook's central pin and release tab. It should now be locked in position

Where i can find the singer sewing machine belt model 1620

The belt itself is usually available; there are only a few sizes of belts. However, you should have the service manual to do that. I would go to Sewing Parts Online; if they do not have the part and service manual, they can order it for you.

Bobbin holder does not spring across

Well its just a spring affair, if you have some mechanical knowledge or experience is in fact simple to replace. However, if you have not service your machine for quite some time, might as well get it done by your local technician plus general service on your machine as well.

I need singer sewing machine belt model 1620

There are a lot of parts that were specifically made for Singer machines that are not produced anymore. Here is the link to the manual for your machine: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals/search?man_model_no=2250 Also, there are on line stores that do sell parts and accessories that fit the Singer machines. One I have had luck with is this one: http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-2250-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?gclid=CNmK0KGYzrsCFWRBQgodDXUADw They do list parts for your machine and guarantee them to fit. One of those parts is a belt for that machine.

Bobbin always jams, thread bunches up under fabric, auto winding causes a birdsnest of ruined, loose thread and most importantly it won't sew.

Your tension is not set right. The tension setting is usually around 4 and can chang e depending upon the fabric you are using. Hope this helps.
