this could mean that the heating element is not working or its blocked so that it cant produce the steam and it should have a auto cut out , descale or make sure there is no blockages usually there is a hot water steamer and a milk steamer or both maybe combined into one ,try the end cleaning cycle making sure its not blocked

try to tap colse to the switch solenoid as it might just be stuck

Sound like the filter strainer is clogged: Try taking out the whole internal coffee plunger assy by doing the following turn off machine at the machine switch (leave the power point switch on) Open the door and remove the internal bu pressing the red buttons Undo the filter plate on top and clean and reinstall...make sure that the assy clicks in correctly

Use pre warmed milk is the only suggestion.

Depending age of coffee maker, it may need to be cleaned with vinegar or it may be plugged. Use a pipe cleaner or something small to clear tube.

Take it back and buy a different brand or have them explain exactly what the procedure is to make the beverage.

check for a hole between the green and black rings if there is one it is used to separate materials like coffee, milk or hot water for the machine to operate properly

Try switching off and on after 20mins to reset the system
