DeLonghi Nespresso EN660 Espresso Machine - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Delonghi magnifica - I've turned machine on and self diagnosis has appeared and then it shuts down. What does this mean. ? Thanks
Broke... is what it means...! (a model number would have gotten a closer look to parts sources (but you can look yourself on eBay, amazon... and a bunch of parts houses I'll post at the bottom (Bing search)). Hello Buzzy Grunthal, As exotic as our comic book understanding of artificial intelligence is... a program is actually about as EXOTIC as a ladder. You have a control board with some wired or sequenced primary logic... that is failing at a very early stage (a rung is missing). If you are handy with a screw driver... My first suggestion on WATER APPLIANCES is to have a look-see for water contamination... then a cold solder joint... progressing immediately to a WHOLE board replacement... Corrosion can easily be cleaned off with a tiny bit of vinegar... followed by some anti-corrosion compound (I use WHITE lithium grease, very sparingly). A simple soft pencil "lead" could also be used. Cold solder... if found... the real treatment is to clean & re-solder... If you are not GREAT with an iron... save your old board and look for a new one (you can do more damage than good). Guessing about $60 to $260 depending on your model & board. Hope this helps.

Not getting any steam from delonghi magnifica
this could mean that the heating element is not working or its blocked so that it cant produce the steam and it should have a auto cut out , descale or make sure there is no blockages usually there is a hot water steamer and a milk steamer or both maybe combined into one ,try the end cleaning cycle making sure its not blocked
