DeLonghi Nespresso EN660 Espresso Machine Questions & Answers
Delonghi Lattissima EN 660CW milk frother not frothing
I don't know why my answer posted in the comments section, so here it is in the proper area. I had the same problem and was ready to send it in for repairs, but I
talked to a great guy at Nespresso who helped me fix it myself. The
problem was when I pushed the latte button, it would only froth milk for
a second or two and then the espresso would start pouring. It basically
refused to make a latte. Here's the things he had me do:1)
Descale immediately. I have an older machine, and descaling once a year
does NOT cut it. He told me descaling every 5 months at the bare
minimum, if your machine is not having any problems at all. Descaling is
usually the main problem for lack of froth. I descaled and it seemed
like the machine was working better almost immediately. I also ran 4 - 5
tanks of water through the hot water spout and the main espresso part
(but mostly this is because it seems to take this much flushing to get
the smell of the descaling solution out). 2) Reset your machine
to factory settings. I have a classic Lattissima, so this is how you do
it on that machine. Turn the machine on and wait until the drink buttons
are steady (espresso and hot water buttons are no longer blinking to
warm up). Then press and HOLD the power button until the espresso and
hot water buttons BLINK THREE TIMES. Then they'll go back to steady
again. You're now back to factory settings. I did notice that I
started having the trouble after moving the machine, so I'm not sure
which of the above solved the problem. The main thing is it worked and
I'm back to yummy lattes!

Delonghi Ecam 23.450S heating up please wait
'heating up please wait...' and that's it, suggests a fault with either a sensor or a control board... and in today's market, who could ever guess which?
I'm sorry this is far more philosophical than technical. I really hate to say this. Still, if any half-way modern appliance has given you 15 years' service, what more would you have expected?
Traditionally, you would have taken any faulty gizmo to a local repair expert, who would have fixed it for a charge greatly less than any replacement cost.
Today, it's almost inconceivable that the cost of even diagnosing, let alone fixing any fault would be comparable to the cost of replacing (whatever) with a new one.
The error code close door does not go off even if the service door was closed on DeLonghi Magnifica coffee machine
According to the De'Longhi UK website, the error message "Close Door" could be caused by two issues :
The brewing unit is not installed properly in the unit. You can try turning the unit off, remove and reinstall the brew unit, and then turn the unit back on to see if it reset itself.
The latch on the service door has coffee build up and is restricted from moving freely. Please clean the latch area and make sure the door closes.
If neither of these solutions work, you may need to contact DeLonghi support for further assistance.
Esam6700 hot water spout and milk frother not working:
Based on the information provided, it is possible that there is an issue with the machine's internal circuitry or wiring. It could also be a problem with the control board or the sensors that detect the presence of the milk jug or hot water spout.
One possible solution is to try resetting the machine to its default settings. To do this, turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This may help reset any internal settings that could be causing the issue.
If resetting the machine does not work, it may be necessary to have it serviced by a professional technician. They can diagnose and repair any underlying issues with the machine's components.
It is also worth noting that regular maintenance and cleaning of the milk frother and hot water spout can help prevent issues from occurring in the first place. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and descaling these parts of the machine.
Overall, if the issue persists, it is recommended to contact Delonghi customer support or a certified technician for further assistance.
De'longhi Eletta coffee machine Steam doesn't come out from the spout?
There is no video? You can only link it to the post if it is on YouTube, or you can put a text link to a place like DropBox.
These machines need professional service every 6 to 12 months, but they don't tell you that when you buy one! The appears to be a few different models of Eletta, they seem to be a series. I see one with a milk tank on the left and another that makes two cups with a flat front. If it is leaking from the milk steam spout, they need soaking in a milk enzyme cleaner because the milk gets baked on inside the tube. They also have o-ring seals when one part joins another.
