if the coffee is ground too fine, it'll take longer to brew through. either grind more coarse or call bunn for a flow restrictor (800) 352-BUNN (2866)

Water runs through it imemediately before it heats up.

Make sure it's getting power, and that the "vacation" switch isn't on. If on a GFCI outlet, press the RESET button - Do Not press the "test" button. If GFCI is located upstream on the breaker or another outlet (not uncommon), try resetting the breaker or that other outlet. If still no joy, check that the outlet is hot by plugging something else into it. If that item doesn't work either check the circuit breaker for that outlet by moving the lever all the way to the Off position, then back to the On position. You should hear a click like a light switch.

Bunnomatic not making enough coffee

Fill your carafe about an 1/8" over the target cup line. Remember some water in the tank is lost to evaporation, and some water remains in the used coffee grounds. Adding a little extra water makes up for that.

Bunn coffee pot leaking bottom

The leak is most likely between the water reservoir and the tank. Bunn uses a soft silicone seal for that connection that gets compressed over time and starts to leak water whenever you make a pot of coffee. It's planned obsolescence. Bunn won't sell you a new seal. So you have to improvise. But it's simple enough to do. Remove the top cover and the plastic water reservoir right below it. Don't tamper with the little valve that opens when you close the lid. Look for the seal. It could be stuck to the bottom of the reservoir, or sitting loosely on top of the metal tank. Make sure to preserve its top-to-bottom orientation (don't put it back in upside down). Apply a narrow bead of clear silicone into the grooved side of the seal. Press the seal gently onto the reservoir, then apply a thin layer to the smooth side. Re-install the reservoir and reassemble the unit.

Bunn problems

Sounds like the tube feeding water from the reservoir to the spout is clogged. There is a spring Bunn supplies with the coffee maker that you need to use. Twist loose the plastic piece above where the coffee filter basket is and remove it. Then push the spring as far as you can into the line. Sometimes you have to push a little hard but when you push it in make sure you leave an inch or so still sticking out so you can grasp it to pull it back out. Repeat this a few times to make sure the line is clear of any build-up. Another idea is to remove the plastic top of the machine by removing the 4 screws and see if the hole where the water drains into is clogged or won't open. Hope this helps.

Bunn doesn't brew whole pot

This could be the coffee powder absorbing water. Try running a brew with no coffee powder. If the level is correct you know the powder is absorbing the water. If not it's likely being list via steam/evaporation and/or a leak.
