start be resetting the circuit beaker in the basement. It might need a reset you can tell if it is because it will be slightly out of position from the other ones in line above and below it. once you flip it from off to back on see if the unit works. than get back to us

check if its dead then the power coming into the unit is bad or the fuse inside on the control board has blown. check the power at the dishwasher and if all is well then open the door, remove all the screws from around the edge, raise the inside panel, swap the fuse thats on the control board If the control panel is not lit at all and the dishwasher doesn't function either then you will have to check the fuse. The fuse is on the control board. It is a white flat plastic fuse that is on the front of the control board.Remove the screws from the inner door. There should be about eight or so screws that need to be removed from the door we it is opened. After those screws a removed you can pull off the inner and outer door to expose the control board in the top portion of the door. It is usually in a black plastic cover that protects the board. You will need to depress the clips on the black plastic cover on either side to release the cover. Once the cover is off you will see the control board and fuse attached to the control board. If you have a meter you can check the fuse with continuity. First unplug or turn the circuit to the machine off. Then take the wires off the fuse and put the leads from the meter onto the terminals of the fuse. And then set your meter to ohms or continuity. You should read 0 ohms or a tone with continuity. If the fuse is good and has continuity then you need to replace the main control board.If the fuse is bad you will have to change it.

Hello giov..... the dimensions of the whirlpool DU930 require an opening that is 24 inches wide x 24 inches deep by 34 inches high.

the drain hose maybe clogged it connects to the garbage disposal or the air gap at under the sink. you can get a wet dry vac and **** it out . or if the hose is just laying under the sink on the bottom of the cabinet you need a loop put in it. just attach it to the top of the sink some where and leave slack after the attached location toward the sink.

You can try to observe the action in the dishwasher with the door open although you will get a little wet. You can shield the upper half from the water since it's coming from the bottom. You can dress appropriately and protect the floor. You can see exactly where the water is squirting from this way. You have to hold the door switch in so it will run with the door open.

You may have a problem with the electronic control board or there may be an issue with the pump (clogged, etc.). Contact an appliance service company.

I've had a look at the Whirlpool site for detailed information for you, but they seem to want you to buy a pump assembly complete. Not very helpful.

There is usually a slight gap in this mincer arrangement. It could be that the "strainer" has become detatched from it's intended fixed position. If this is the case. Try heat from a soldering iron to bond it to it's fixing, or an epoxy adhesive as a last resort before purchase of a new pump assembly.

If there is room for a small spring on the output shaft, this may also keep it at the correct distance.

Unlikely to be the wiring. It can only be the motor, the door switch, the flood sensor, the motherboard or the control panel.
