To reset your iPhone settings,

From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Still having problems? Try deleting all the existing settings. Note: The step given below will delete all the data on your iPhone. It will also give a reset to your settings. From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings. Or:

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

1. Press and hold the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the application you were using quits.
2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

As long as your contacts are saved to your sim then

1- go to settings
2- select mail, contact & calendars
3 - scroll down to import sim contacts

and voila! your contacts will get transferred over :)

As I have learned the hard way the iphone's bluetooth is only to pair with wireless bluetooth headset and car stereo. You cannot connect to any other kind of devices. Also you must have Iphone Os 3.0 or higher to stream music to your car stereo. If it still does not work then the belkin bluetooth audio receiver should solve your problen

You accidentally zoomed in the screen of your iPhone, to zoom out, use three of your fingers to double-tap the screen simultaneously. That's the only way. Do the same thing to zoom back in.

Um welllllllllllll its kind of a sticky issue. Apple wants you contact them at 800 my iphone so they can get you into an apple store and pay 200 bucks to replace the screen.
If your like me, my pockets aren't that deep. Other things you can try, google it and find a do it yourself repair kit (range from 30-100 bucks). or find a company that will service your iphone for cheaper.
check iresq.com for an 89 dollar screen repair, they come with good recommendations.

You have one of 3 things going on here.

1. Software related issue - If this is your case you're lucky! Just perform a hard reset and a restore by following the directions below.

Do a hard reset by holding down home and power buttons together until screen goes black. While holding down home plug the iPhone into your computer. iTunes should now prompt you to perform a restore.

2. Bad LCD - This would require warranty repair/replacement from Apple. If you're not covered you can google iPhone repair for a repair shop. If you want to do it yourself buy your parts on eBay. Not too hard of a repair if you are handy with electronics.
3. Bad Logic Board = Again if this were the issue you would have to use Apple repair under warranty or a 3rd party repair shop. You won't be able to figure out if it's a Bad LCD or Bad Logic board without swapping the LCD for a good one first.

You may try this one as long as your iPhone was jailbroken and must have AFC2 Support(Jailbroken with Redwn0w)

1. Download the patch from this link: http://www.multiupload.com/038AIZXLS6
2. Extract it on your PC and connect your iPhone with USB to your PC and make sure your iPhone is AFC2 support. (If your iPhone is Jailbroken with Redwn0w so dont care about AFC2)
3. Open the iPhone Password Remover folder and just double click on M.H.M.bat !
4. Dos windows will apear. after exiting the window restart your iPhone. Now your iPhone should be Passwordless.

Based on trying a few iPhone cases, I would look for an iPhone case that:   -  doesn't have a cover flap.  Lifting the flap every time you use the phone gets annoying -  prevents skidding.  The iPhone can easily skid off a table; you can lose it or, worse, break it.   -  has a screen cover that doesn't reflect or refract light in awkward ways -  has a screen cover that doesn't get dirty easily.  
Many covers may have these qualities.  One combination I have tried and liked is:   -  the "white gel case" at the AT&T store (about $20) -  the "screen protector tri-pack" also at the AT&T store (about $10)

Looks like your backlight is broken, if you had the same issue before it could be a broken logic board. The screen is not too hard to replace or to reconnect.
