Based off what your have described you need assistance in removing the top rack off your Electrolux dishwasher. In order to remove the top rack you would need to remove the caps from your rail and you should be able to pull it up and out. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Hello - Yes, it does have a child lock control. It is design to prevent children from accidently change the dishwasher cycle or starting the dishwasher. It locks the dishwasher controls by pressing and releasing the DELAY TIME icon for 3 seconds. Do you see an indication lock light on your dishwasher illuminate? It will usually appear when the controls are locked and no new selections can be made until the lock is released. To unlock the controls, press the DELAY TIME icon under the indicator light goes out.

In order to repair leaks, Electrolux came out with a "leak kit", which is part number 154769101. Comes with all parts that they had leak issues with
