Hi
If your Bosch dishwasher won't drain properly, run the food waste disposer if you have one connected to your dishwasher. This clears the food caught in it. If you just installed the disposer, remove the knockout plug. The check valve is located near the pump, and it opens to let water flow into the drainage hose. If the valve isn't working properly, see if anything is clogging or blocking it. Clean it out. If the valve still isn't working properly, order a new one.
Your Bosch dishwasher normally has a small amount of water in the base of the tub after the cycle is complete. This prevents the seals from drying out. Verify that the cycle is complete and not just pausing. Close the door, and restart the cycle. If the water still doesn't drain, inspect the filters, which are located at the base of the tub. Clean these filters if they are clogged with dirt and debris.
Now check the drain Hose. The drainage hose is located at the rear of the dishwasher. This hose can get clogged. Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply, and remove the hose. Scoop out any debris caught in the hose, using a plastic utensil. If your hose is kinked, straighten it. If you have an air gap, clean it. The air gap is usually located near the sink. If you don't have an air gap, install a high drain loop. Attach the drainage hose to the underside of the countertop so that it creates a loop. This prevents water from the sink from entering the dishwasher tub.
The pump is also a factor which is responsible for pushing water in the tub toward the drain. Your Bosch dishwasher pump can get clogged with food particles and debris. Remove the spray arm and bottom rack to access the pump, and clean it out with a toothpick. If the pump is clean, check to see if it's broken. Certain components, such as the impeller, often break. Unfortunately, you usually can't fix the individual components and must purchase a new pump.
Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.
Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
