I have an LG Lavavajillas dishwasher and the hose
Hi,
I have not seen this model here in Australia, so I am not sure if the box you are referring to is the inlet solenoid or a pressure limiter. It would be a difficult task to disconnect the hose from the other end where it attaches to the base internals of the machine.
Two suggestions:
1) Drill a big hold in your cabinet to allow the hose fitting to pass through.
2) Or you can get a hose adapter and attach a second hose on the end of this one. The normal inlet hoses would have a small head so you can pass this through the existing hole in your cabinet. If you do this make sure the excess hose is tucked away under the cabinet, when you push the dishwasher in, otherwise you will get kinks in the hose.

Our dish washer stop and the e1 light come on,
The E1 you are seeing means the following: Water Level in Drum lowering, this means there is a leak on one of the pipes.
But from previous experiences it is more than likely that it is the Circulation pump. It will have to be replaced, as it is a common spare that has to be replaced on L.G Dishwashers (lifetime expectancy: 12 - 18 Months) - Not very expensive.
Usually is about 20%-25% the price of a new Dishwasher. The Circulation pump is fitted to the sump. Part Number: 5859DD9001A or 5859ED1001A (Depending which one is in stock)
Good Luck :-) - J.Q

Dishwasher will not drain water
The filter is probably blocked.
It is inside the base of the machine.
Take out the filter and clean it and also clean out the filter well as that can also hold quite a bit of debris.

The panel has a LE ERROR.
LE is an ie .. water inlet problem. ... manual says to check for clogged, kinked, or frozen water inlet hose. check water supply.
OE. Drainage problem
FE excessive water supplied
E1 water leakage problem
HE heater circuit failure
TE thermistor failure, or very high inlet water temp
PF. power failure.
Dishwasher compartment
pour right into the main opening( under the cap where you see the lever with 1,2,3.. the 2 slots are simply air holes... liquid will drain through..some bubles are normal.
Bottom drawer does not have a hard stop. Drawer
check the level of the Dw per the instructions.. may need to raise the front up... If you take the front kick plate off( 2 screws) there are 2 white feet at the front... also phillips screws above(inset) that control the height of the back 2 feet.
Manual tells you where to place the level.. for plumb levelling the manuals stated to put the level on the front side of the cabinet( where the door closes on to)... on the vertical side. Adjust the front feet down, or the back ones upward( need to watch to keep the side to side level when doing this too...
Good luck
Lights are flashing with OE
OE is a drainage problem. Check all lines, and drains for kinks.blockage. Ours was blocked in the T connection where the drain goes into the sink( in the black ABS sink part.) Used a screwdriver to simply clear the t connection with the drain hose disconnected.... ran the DW( where it fills w/ water) ,then turn off, and put the drain hose into a bucket... if its pumping water out well, then it could be the sink drain.
If not... a line somewhere is plugged.
I need the part numbers
no part numbers in the manuals that I have for it, but the brackets are called "installation brackets", ad come with wood screws.
The install manual is part no 3828dd3003e

I have the same problem and am looking into the heating element or the relay that controls the heating element. Steam does not come out anymore when door is opened to unload. I am thinking relay bad more than the actual heating element. Hard to get info and the tech was looking through home owner manual to figure it out. Poor service there.
