Laser is bad in the drive which is why it will recognize bluerays but not games. Laser requires different strengths to read certain discs and if the laser is weak in any way then it won't be able to read certain discs. You can get new lasers on Ebay or even replace the whole drive which you can get on Ebay as well.

That sounds bad. I'd check to see if you are within warranty coverage. Sometimes tech support will help you a bit even if you are not.
Most likely, the unit was dropped or else exposed to moisture. If it was dropped, a printed circuit board or similar may have cracked. That's sometimes repairable, but a difficult thing to do even for an expert with good equipment.
On the other hand, possibly a cable or connector inside, particularly one connected to the screen has come a bit loose from being dropped. You might be able to fix that by taking the unit apart (being careful to remember how things fit) and re-seating all the connectors, i.e. disconnect each one and then push it back into place firmly, though not really forcefully. The trouble is that in order to take the unit apart, there will likely be a screw under a label or something similar that is going to break your warranty by opening it. So you probably don't want to do this if the unit is in warranty.
Another possibility is that the unit was exposed to moisture. If so, you can try what I said in the last paragraph but also look for water stains or similar. If you find any, they sometimes leave a residue behind that can cause a short. Sometimes, even a bit of water can last for a long time if trapped under a part or connector. You can clean small water stains with some isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. If you think there might still be moisture in the unit, try blowing hard at it while it is open from different angles. You might also try blowing a hair dryer at it and through it for awhile. If it becomes too hot to touch, you have the hair dryer too close.
Warranty repair is by far your best choice. The other techniques may work but unless you specifically spot the problem inside you may not be able to correctly diagnose it and fix it.

Leapster2 AC Adapter
the ac adapter doesnt charge the batterys only runs it on mains you dont have to remove them but you should, they leak if not used or been in for a long time corrodes the pins and renders anything allmost useless to run on batterys when you put them back in
Power problem on Game Boy Advance
since it's secondhand, you may want to go onto Ebay or check in with your local Game Stop and see about getting a replacement battery.
Ps3 wont play my games
make sure that your ps3 doesn't have anything blocking the vent, and that it's clean and dust free. if you have a CD cleaner (looks like a CD with small brushes on the opposite side) you can throw that in there to clean off your lens, it shouldn't take but a second.
