Unit not cleaning as well as when new;understand

Sounds like the heater element not heating as well as it did also you may need to put it through a hot cycle (empty) to flush out any gunk away.

Crosley washer ytw4514sn1ws lights will turn on, nothing happens when start button is pushed???

if the washer is getting power and the display board is not lighting up, then the display board may need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the part seems to be backordered straight from the factory. You may want to contact Crosley customer support for further assistance.

The detegent doesn't completely leave

This model relies on the top spray arm to 'wash' the detergent out of the soap dispenser - and that is the problem. Your top spray arm will not be turning properly. Check the angled jet on the very tip of the arms for blockages with food or fruit pips etc - it's this angle only that makes the arms turn. if blocked, clean out with a pin or wire, and running water - make sure you get every bit out. If not, buy a new spray arm. If the arm is split, you will need a new one. Other problems may be low water level or a faulty circulation pump - BUT check the spray arms first. Remember a dishwasher is NOT a garbage disposal unit, so scrape any food particles of plates etc before putting them in the machine. Run a dishwasher cleaner through with no load once in awhile.

Stopped in mid cycle and wont restart

Hi....I think I can help you with this. I checked a troubleshooting site for Crosley dishwashers, and there could be a couple of reasons why the cycle stopped: 1. The thermal fuse shuts off power to the dishwasher if it overheats. If the thermal fuse blows, it will prevent the dishwasher from starting. To determine if the thermal fuse is defective, use a multimeter to test the fuse for continuity. If the thermal fuse does not have continuity, replace it. 2. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the door switch is defective, the switch will prevent the dishwasher from running even when the door is closed. To determine if the door switch is at fault, use a multimeter to test the switch for continuity. If the switch does not have continuity, replace it. 3. The door latch ensures that the dishwasher door latches shut. If the door does not latch properly, the door switch might prevent the dishwasher from running. If the door latch is broken, replace it. You can also find more related troubleshooting here: http://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dishwasher/31---/Dishwasher-won-t-start You'll need the model number for your particular dishwasher. I hope this has helped you. 2. 2

Dishwasher handle won't lock

The top locking tab attached to the counter top may be misaligned. Bend it down slightly to make a positive connection with the door locking portion. Check the level adjustments on the front right and left corner of the washer. It is behind the face plate or skirt on the front of the washer.

I'm not sure which dishwasher

Hi
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Can i use vinegar to clean it

Hi, In a word, yes. Just make sure it's "white vinegar". In fact I recommend it a couple of times a year. The key to a "vinegar bath" is to select a "normal" cycle with "no heat" amd no "heated dry" and either place a bowl of white vinegar on the bottom rack or add a cup or two to the tub after about 6-7 minutes after starting the cycle. Either method insures the vinegar doesn't get drained out after the pre-wash. Yes you can use vinegar...just not bleach. Hope that answer's your question. Thanks for visitng "fixya" for your inquiry. Please take a second to rate the info I provided here. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

HOW TO REPAIR A HOLE IN MY DISHWASHER

It depends upon the material you are trying to repair but Araldite or any good quality two part epoxy will suffice to fill the hole. Ensure the area is dry and clean then build up the repair . Larger holes will require multi additions of epoxy.
