It sounds like you're not far off. Peel the sticker back a little, and see if there is a small contact point (usually yellow metal) - this should be marked 'AC'. Short this to the + for 3 seconds, then repeat for good measure. If that doesn't sort it, try taking the battery out, wait about 30 seconds then put it back in and reset if necessary. If there's still no display, obtain a known working battery and try again. If you still have no display, it's time to give up and admit it's dead.... unless you've been using a plastic coated paper clip. Good luck.

It sounds like there is a short somewhere, or the Indiglo function is permanently on. I suggest you look inside the case and check the movement and how the battery was installed and see if anything looks wrong. If you can find nothing amiss I suggest you take it to a jewellers or similar that does battery replacements and let them work it out. Hope this helps.

these are not the model number , CR2016 is the lithium battery number and the WR30 is water resistance 30 meters. you will need to send the watch off to Timex [email protected]

normally the watch chrono hands can be reset . dependant on movement fitted. *pull crown out to first position * push and hold top right pusher. * the second should start top sweep one complete revolution and then stop. *when it stops use the lower right pusher to adjust. *when at the 12 push the crown but in fully.

See if watch has reset function and try a new battery.
