Faema due smart two group espresso machine, I am
when you open the hot water valve all the way does the pump come one? You might have a newer version that has a mix valve. This allows a controlled amount of cold water to be mixed in with the boiling water from the boiler. If so you would find an adjustment (usually just a black knob) that is next to that valve. If the final amount of water for the espresso is fluctuating then you have a problem with your flow meters (dirty impellors or bad field sensors). If you notice a different in the amount of water flowing from one group to the next then something is clogging up the jets or group heads. It could also be a sign of your dispersion screens going bad or other stuff. Have you had it maintenance within the last six months. I have the manual for that machine if you need a copy.
Good Luck,

Cleaning
To clean the pump pot, use purocaff, add a teaspoon of the soap to the pump pot then fill with warm water, let sit for about 1 hour, then use a brush to clean.
Stopped making hot enough water
Hello. If the temp is coming out low, there are a few possibilities. You said the "green" light was lit, is this a ready to brew lamp? if so, your thermostat is indicating it is at temp, even though it is not. I would say that it has failed, and needs replacement. It could be it has overheated, and tripped the safety limit, the heater has failed, a wire burnt off, it would require checking with a multimeter to know for sure. Take it to, or call a servicer, and have it checked, if its commercial, you can find a servicer in the phone book, under "restaurant equipment repair".
Hope that helps, and thank you.
