Bunn coffee brewer leaking

Is this a lot of water, or just a small amount.

As the unit sits over time and runs heating cycles, it may have some vapor come out of the vents. That will cool and collect around the unit.

try turning the unit off for the weekends. If you still have water around the unit, then it may have a leak in the tank.

Listen to the unit after you make a pot of coffee. You will hear it start heating the water and then after the water heats up you will hear the unit shut down. If it is not shutting down and is continuing to run then yes you need a new thermostat.

Unit has not been used that much. It now boils

You say it's boiling over and leaking, this tells me that you have a seal leaking and a bad thermostat. Go to this sight http://www.bunnomatic.com/pdfs/commercial/manuals/10784.0000.pdf it's a illustrated parts catalog so you can see where each of these parts are located inside the unit. Take the top off of the unit so that you can see the fill basin. Now turn on the unit and add water. As you add the water, look all around for leaks. although I think they will not show up until the water gets hot and the Make sure you look real close under the tank for leaks. #3 re is pressure and heat built up. Scroll down to the diagram that's labeled Tank and Components. Look at part labeled #9, #14, #16 and #17. You should find the leak at one or more of these parts. When the leak is found, you can try to order them from the number but I don't think they will sale parts. They only handel warranty. I order mt parts from www.hfse.com Heritage Food Service Equipment. They sale all the Bunn parts along with about every other part. Go to the sight and you can look up parts. Their number is on the sight, you will need to call them to order the parts. Good luck.

Our vps series makes coffee very slow

Remove the sprayhead and using a paper clip clean out the holes on it, then you should have a long spring that came with your machine use that in the hole left open by the sprayhead, make sure it goes in all the way through up to at least 2 inches left in your hand, then run it a few more times. After that is done reassemble and run a pot without coffee.

How do you drain all the water from the resavoir

Hello. Take the funnel out, under it is the spray head, remove it, unplug the unit, take it over to a sink and tilt the end that the spray head was on into the sink slowly, the water in the tank will drain out through the spray head pipe until mostly empty. You also could take the top off, take the tank lid off, and use a shop vac to vacuum all the water off, or just pour it out, probably faster, but messier :) If you need information on you unit, go to www.bunnomatic.com , chose commercial, and then on the left, choose coffee, and pour overs.

Hope that helped, and thank you.

We have a Bunn VPS

You should keep the unit full of water all the time it's plugged in, as if it is low on water, the heating element will burn out. A Bunn VPS brewer holds about 2 -64 oz pots of water in it's resevoir.

Bunn VPS 3

Are you leaving the machine plugged in all of the time? If not, you need to. The machine takes approximately 10 minutes to get to full temperature the first time then the water should stay hot from then on. Or it could be that you just need to turn up the thermostat. No, the water won't get hotter sitting on the burner and the coffee won't taste as good if the water you are brewing with isn't hot enough.

To get to the thermostat, unplug the machine and take the two screws on the top lid off. You should see a box that has a knob or a T sticking out of it. Turn it up a little bit, put the lid back on and let the heat up for a little while (10 - 15 minutes). Try brewing with just plain water. If it still isn't hot enough, repeat the steps above. Make sure you don't turn up the thermostat so much that the water boils.

Bunn CSB3T Speed Brew Platinum Thermal Coffee Maker, 10-Cup. It seems to not brew as hot as when we first got it.

Somewhere inside you should find a small rotary thermostat. Also make sure the heating element is completely clean by using a quality descaler like CLR. A lot of people use white vinegar but it is not that effective on coffee makers. Make sure the heating element under the carafe is working, because that is heating up as the coffee is brewing. ..

I cant see my BUNN BT Velocity date code on my brewer I was told it is 6 digits... it starts with what number??

To locate the date code on your BUNN BT Velocity brewer, you can try the following:
  1. Check the bottom or back of the brewer: Look for a label or sticker on the bottom or back of the machine. The date code is typically printed on this label.
  2. Inspect the sides or inside the brewer: In some cases, the date code may be located on the sides or inside the brewer. You may need to remove any panels or covers to access the label or sticker.
  3. Consult the user manual: If you have the user manual for your BUNN BT Velocity brewer, it may provide information on where to find the date code. Refer to the manual for specific instructions or contact BUNN customer support for assistance.
If you are still unable to locate the date code on your brewer, I recommend reaching out to BUNN customer support directly. They will be able to provide you with accurate information and guide you in finding the date code on your specific model of the BT Velocity brewer.

Bunn Coffee maker Model CWTF-15 Water is continuing to flow after pot is made. The machine must be turned off to get it to stop.

Normally that would be an easy fix if the water just continued to flow. You just replace the water inlet valve and they can stick open or partially open. But you say if you power off, the flow stops. That sounds like the control board is supplying residual power to it. Control boards are expensive so I would call for service. Or you can try some of the fixes here. https://www.google.com/search?q=bunn+coffee+maker+cwtf15+replacement+water+inlet+valve More here https://www.google.com/search?q=bunn+coffee+maker+cwtf15+water+not+shutting+off ..

Need temperature limit switch for garbage Bunn coffee maker.

Not sure your model name is correct and we always need numerical model names here. Bunn are such a well known name in coffee machines, I find it disappointing that they say ANY machine is not repairable. I found some Training Manuals and I found a 'Thermostat Limit Kit'. https://www.google.com/search?q=bunn+grab+fast+brew++temperature+limit+switch The search query would be Bunn (numerical model number) temperature limit switch ..
