It doesn't have one

Belt or bearing may be going bad .

If the battery is just about shot it will do this. I know as a fact you will be lucky to get two or three years out of a battery.

If it's only a month old I would take it back and let them look at it.

Make sure the brush roll will spin freely, if so install a new belt.

If a vacuum gets loud all of the sudden it might mean the fan or impeller is broken or cracked which makes it out of balance.

First test the switch to see if power in and then out to the motor.

The belt is probably broken or off the pulley. These will build up hair and rug fiber around d the moving parts and force the belt off. I don't know the exact access on this model but a cover will need to be removed. Some models require Phillips screw removal of complete upper or lower cover. Be sure to clean out all debris and re install or replace belt with new.

It probably has a clog somewhere
