DVD X Copy lost a court battle. It was deemed ******* and 321 Studios was shutdown several years ago. It is, therefore, possible that you have purchased obsolete software that won't ever activate. Also, if it IS old software, it will no longer be able to bypass the newer/newest copy protection on movie DVDs. You might want to try a Google search for Blu-ray ripper.

To ensure it's a problem with 321 , go to http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm and download their free HDDecrypter and see wat happens . I have definitely opted for their products since a wile : just do the job fast and perfect . They have free tools , the rest is 30 days free trial .

The company is bust, A judge shut them down in 2004.
I would find a crack for the software,
( so you can copy/convert the store bought CD/DVDs you own and save the original )
You won't need to activate.

But use alot of caution when downloading cracks, and for that matter even going to websites that link to the cracks. they are notorious for viruses/spy-ware/male-ware.
If you need help finding the crack, I might be able to help you.
I'd need your version number number for that.

you may try clicking the icon once you installed it..see if what error is occurred..

yes I would but before you reinstall i would turn off my antivirus program. After turning it off load program then reboot system then turn on your virus protection then open program. if it works fine start a quick scan of your machine with the virus protection program you have see if it picks up andything then after it is done restart the new program it could have been a fluke on download that the virus program sensed a virus in the .exe file

you have to contact the manufacturer listed on the packages. They are the only ones that can help you if you do have legal copies.

ok but did you remove the old copy first, remove it and clean your registry it is probably storing the old info in your registry and is saying to its self , why do they need another, treat it as a fresh install remove everything

Contact the company that created the game. They will most likely send you a new one as long you have proof that you purchased the software.

Sorry to say, but it is improper and against policy to give out reg codes on Fixya.com or pirated software. There are other available options out there besides 321 X copy. I used it when it first came out, until I had a problem with it with no support from them, so I looked for alternatives. DVD shrink is FREE (some people try and charge for it on their own, but it is FREE by the author) I believe the website is http://www.dvdshrink.org/
Educate yourself and learn how to make your personal copies http://www.mrbass.org/
or google it. DVDFAB is a good one. ANYDVD is good. DOOM9 has a lot of good info. You can also use youtube like a search engine (like google) to find a lot of what you need including tutorials etc. Don't limit yourself to one program. I hope this helps and good luck!!
