It may be acting its name:Relax-ing. It may need rewinding. If the watch has button cell battery, the battery . If the battery is a solar one, the watch should be exposed to the light. If watch is automatic (kinetic models) it must be worn on the wrist not stashed in some drawer..

Send it back and ask for a repair under warranty.

Thanks for using FixYa. To adjust the date and time you’ll need to follow these instructions---


To wind the Movement:


With the crown in position 1, flush against the case, turn the crown
clockwise, completing approximately 15 to 20 revolutions, then
gently but quickly move the watch back and forth several times to
start movement.


To set the Time:


Once the watch is running, pull the crown out to position 2 and turn
it in either direction to set hands to desired time, then push crown
back in to position 1.
