To Pair with Your Phone....

1. Turn OFF Bluetooth Headset
2. With Headset within 1 Ft of your phone, hold down power key for about 8 seconds until indicator light blinks in red and blue color quickly (in pairing mode)
3. Search bluetooth device through your mobile phone.
4. Select HFBLU-AX1C in the bluetooth device list and enter the password 1234.

Try using 1 or 2 or 0............

this is the second person i have seen telling people it does not matter what code you use, maybe you are mis-understanding the question..the passkey for the hfblu series is either going to be 0000 or 1234 thats it..you can always change it but unless you pair it using one of the defaults i have mentioned it will not do the initial pairing to the device. FYI i work for Mizco the manufacturer this is a fact!

When you want to pair a blue tooth with another device, you can use any code you want, like 1234,1111,3333. It does not have a particular number to function.

The only thing it needs is that any digit number you use must not be lower than four digit numbers.It can be five, six, or even seven, but not lower than four digit numbers.

perhaps you got the headset with the wrong charger dock, you should take it back to the store and test another one there if its the same problem alert the store to this manufacture default...recalls may be in order

0000 is the passcode all bluetooth devices, this is the default code for all bluetooth headsets

0000 all default pass codes are that for any bluetooth headset

the primary pass word for this product is zero-zero-zero-zero. good luck!!!!

This product is very frustrating. I also need a pin which I don't have and it originally worked just fine with my Blackberry without any PIN.
Cannot get anyone at MIZ to answer the phone or return a call. I've called their support number 1 800 266 4026 but cannot reach a person.

That usually means it isin pairing mode. Charging some headsets from extended periods can sometimes reset the device requiring you to pair the device again.
