Konami Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party for Nintendo Wii Questions & Answers
I bought the dance dance
Are you either using konami mat or game cube mat? If you're using game cube mat, then make sure you're putting it in the first player plug and konami, make sure it's player 1.
Otherwise, your mat is bad and you should call the company to get a refund!
Dance dance revolution arrows slightly over laping
If the arrows that are slightly on top of each other green, those are freeze arrows. You can get rid of them by turning them off in Options after selecting the mode.
If they're not green, it might be a workout step (not 100% sure). You can turn workout steps off in Options after choosing Workout Mode.
If the arrows appear slightly on top of each other despite configuring the options above, it's probably just natural in the game.
Konami DDR Hottest Party Arrow Sync Problem
I have the same. I don't think you can fix this - those games were made for older televisions, and the calibration doesn't accommodate for today's technology. Hottest Party 3, 4 and 5 go up to +/-20, I currently have mine set to +18 for my Samsung flat screen.
Hi! In DDR 3 for
It is possible you have a faulty or scratched disc.
Try resurfacing it. If that doesn't work, replace it.
Can't find the port on
The port should be at the top of the Wii console. All you have to do is open the controller socket cover on the top of the Wii (if you haven't already) and plug in your dance pad into port 1.
Do you need to use
Yes. You need to use the Wii remote and the Nunchuck with the dance pad.
When playing Dance dance revolution
Have you tried to resynch everything?Once one piece needs resynch, everything needs it redone. Also try this after.Your component has digital technology which has a tendency to 'lock up'.A reset solution for your problem is to simply unplug it for 5 minutes and plug it back in.That should fix your problem. If it is easier to pull the circuit breaker, that is fine also.Simply turning it off will not work as it needs the power supply completely removed.Digital components are defined mainly as things which are programmable such as ovens and refrigerators with LCD or LED displays, thermostats,DVR's,answer machines,TV's and much more. Some things which are not exactly programmable but can be reset the same way are video game consoles, modems, battery operated devices, telephones. If it is battery powered, simply disconnect it from the battery or remove the batteries for 5 minutes then retry it.Also, try switching numchucks on the remotes and simply press the reset button on the Wii.If the remote 1 numchuck does not register after that, the numchuck has a problem. If the numchuck works fine, there is likely a problem with the 2nd remotes numchuck connector.I used to repair Nintendo's for a contractor and also have a Wii so I am very knowledgable about your system. If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg
Also, 8 hours huh?You are VERY patient people.
The arrow work fine while navigating on the
I was having this exact same problem! So frustrating because you know that the mat does work since it works in the menu. Anyway, I found this on the Konami website:
This problem indicates that the dance mat is not plugged into the 1st
player port. Please check that your dance mat is plugged into the port
which is closest to the power button. This port also has 1 dot next to
it, to indicate that it is for the first player. Otherwise, the system
will not register that there is a first player at all, which is why the
mat won’t work in any other port than the 1st player port.
I tried it and it worked!
I bought the Konami DDR3
You plug it into the top, the whole top flips open theres a couple of holes up there... I believe it's the one closest to you if your standing in front of it. Any more Questions?
