I have a wooden bassett crib and we have only 3 metal bars to hold up the springs Is there any way to get another one I have not been able to find crib parts. Please help me. Kathy email me at [email protected]

You likely are missing the lower track assemblies. Part # CC (right) and DD (left). These screw into the lower inside legs on the side with the drop down rail to secure the rail from dropping off. See instructions, Step 1 and Step 2.

Bassett recommends that all cribs manufactured prior to 1972 be replaced because improved safety features were instituted that year. If your crib was made in 1972 or after, replacement parts are available from Products America at 1-800-772-1041. If you are unsure when your Bassett crib was made, Bassett urges you to replace it.

I believe the parts need to be inside. I ended up getting a horrible product assembly description from bassett by going to their website and contacting customer service. The pictures are blurry and you feel like they are speaking a foriegn language, but I did get a slight amount of assistance from e-mailing them. Good luck!

Other than the old Trial and Error way, there are some resouces on line. It is easy to figure out how to construct the crib without having the original instructions. You should be able to put the crib together within one hour. It may take longer if you have to search for parts. Check the link below and I bet you'll find some helpful info!
