How do I load the stihl trimmer head with polymer line? It is the kind that has 2 trimmer lines.
the instruction say to place ends in the holes and wind in a counterclockwise direction
After much frustration I drilled the holes straight through to the other side and cut a small section out of the center web
I then loaded a long section of cord through the exit ends of the holes so that it fits across the cut out section and then wound the both ends on as normally
This allows maximum use of the cord without the ends flying out of the original holes

Stihl TS 400 won't start. I changed carburetor, all filters, spark plug, new
gas, check piston is clean, no scrats or dent. whats more I have check?
You seem to have covered most things so its now down to some diagnostic tests, compression test, you should be looking for 120psi at least, any thing under 100 and the rings are shot. A pressure vacuum test, this will tell you if you have an air leak either on the crank seals or a gasket, to do this you need to blank off both inlet and exhaust and use a pressure tester through the impulse tube ( this tube will go into the crankcase )

How to pressure test fuel tank and what results should I be looking for
You will have to blank off the return to tank hose, you should really do a vacuum test then through the fuel hose taken off the carb ( make sure the tank is completely empty, and remove the fuel filter or you will fill your gauge with fuel ) you should see a steady drop due to the tank breather, its hard to say how fast the drop should be other than to say it should be a slow steady drop, obviously if there is no drop then the breather is not working correctly.
