Broderbund American Greeting CreataCard Select 7 for PC - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I recently had to give up on my old computer with
Windows 8 doesn't run Outlook Express. If you are having problems with an old Windows XP program, you are out of luck. You will need to buy a newer version of the program if it is available. Don't worry about hating Win 8, you aren't alone. Everyone hates it, even Microsoft.

Copying the files will not necessarily work, certain registry settings etc will not be established. you may try to install the program (CreataCard Gold 3) using
compatibility mode and check if it can be installed. Access the link
below and follow the steps to manually change the compatibility settings
and install the program in compatibility
mode and check if it helps.

If the above steps do not work I would suggest you to contact
the program manufacturer to verify if they have any updates of fixes to
install this application on Windows 7.

Hi there.
If you still have the cd installer, you can use this to install the program into the new computer otherwise, you really need to buy a new copy or get a similar
freeware.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you!

I have changed my computer
Start the "Windows Compatibility Wizard", and tell it that you want to install a "Windows XP" program. Windows 7 will then read the CD, and install the program, and run it in "XP" mode.

I have amecan Greeting Card
This is an old piece of software. You can try right clicking the program icon, going to properties, going to compatibility and attempt to run it in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility modes. This may not work as the program is listed as incompatible with Windows Vista 64.
Please give me feedback for this answer, thanks.

I have an older version
You
can try to run the software in compatibility mode, which means that you
can tell Windows 7 to run the software as if it was any previous
version of Windows. To do this, browse to the setup.exe or install.exe
file on the disk, right-click and select "Properties". Go to the
"Compatibility" Tab, tick the box and select a previous version of
Windows - the back of the CD Case will tell you which is the best
version.

Create a card gold fails
If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

I have used Cratacard 3
Hello. The problem is that you purchased that software for a particular operating system and now you have changed operating systems. To get up and running again, you must get a new "driver" which will work with your createacard 3 and you windows 7. Go to Broderbund.com/drivers and select the driver you need. This will be a free download. J.

Missing images in my creatacard software
Hello Violetrain
The first thing be sure if you have administrator account or not , if not u have to create one by asking administrator of pc to create one .
else
try go to Start-->Run--> write regedit & press Enter .
if registry tool doesn't appear to you that mean's there is virus who close administrator permisions , you have to install programs that clean your pc from Viruses , after that you can download programs that reopen administrator permisions.
-- what is your Operting System ?
-- is it home pc or work pc ?
-- how often do You use flash disk ?
i hope good luck for you
