Hello
Music creator 3, was made to be used with windows xp, you might want to try right clicking on the shortcut and try running it as administrator, and also if that doesn't help, right click and properties, find the
compatibility page and set it to windows Xp Service pack 3 or similar.
If the program still keeps crashing, it might be best to upgrade to Music Creator 5 which is windows 7 friendly.

I have sonar 6 le[cakewalk.been recoding for moths
I have tried using different program for recording. It does work for some time but time came when I have also problem met with it. So I uninstall it after clearing all folders etc in program files and in Control Panel, I tried to re install it. PRESTO! it worked with that fine.
Try unistalling if you have the isntaller with you and the Key product.

No sound
Sounds to me like you don't have a bi directional sound card.
.
It could verywell be your USB driver.
try uninstalling the driver. driver and reboot and let the PC plug and play a generic loaded USB driver.
Possible your sound card or chipset does not support the driver.
