Yes I could be. My advice, if this freezer is 10-12 years old or more, you may be getting ready to spend a lot of money starting now. If not, have somebody physically look at it. Hopefully, it is just the relay or capacitor.

It uses the same compressor for both. One of two things, the opening that is allowing cold air in the freezer , is closed or the freon is leaking out and it will be soon before the fridge is not working.

You have a part going bad or a faulty read . Refer to your manual and see what it says under troubleshooting.

I need you to feel the top of the compressor and tell me how hot it is. Also tell me if the condenser fan next to the compressor is running. If the top of the compressor is too hot to keep your hand on top the problem may be the=> 4356738 Start Relay also found here=> 4356738 Start Relay Here is a link to the repair parts list=> EVL201NXRQ00 Repair Parts List You can see the parts listed on page 5 and 6 of the above parts list. Hopefully this is the only problem causing your freezer to stop freezing as well. If the 4356738 Start Relay is defective it will cause the problems by not allowing the compressor to run or start very well also cause the top of the compressor to overheat. This is normal. There is an electric, (mullion), heater behind that surface that keeps condensation from forming. It also keeps the freezer door gasket from freezing to the surface and ripping when the door is opened.

Sounds short of gas. Need a technician

Will a normal defrost timer not do?

the ice maker is not cutting off clean inlet valve shut off

If it spins for 10 mins it's not the capacitor, it's the fan

Does your refrigerator have a water filter? if it has one it will be in the kickplate/grill below the freezer door. If it has one replace the filter.

Have you cleaned the condenser grill and made sure you have plenty of air flow around the unit? It might also be time to take the food out and completely defrost your freezer! Since you do have an ice build up on your evaporator grill.

It seems like your auger motor was shorted out. That is fairly common with this model because water will drip straight down onto the auger motor.

You should be able to replace the part yourself if you're handy. To access the part, you open the freezer door first. Get on your hands and knees and look under the ice dispenser area. There is either a 4" x 6" plastic cover you can unscrew to access the motor, or you need to remove the ice bin and remove everything from the top down.

You will probably have to remove the back panel, which is the evaporator cover. The defrost water drain is always at the base of the coil. **** the drain out and pour some hot water down it

Simple solution works in many cases. Thaw machine out. Unplug and open doors, let stand for 4 hours. Plug back in and test.

In a case like that most likely the door gasket isn't sealing on that corner , a dollor bill placed around door then close it should have some resistiance when pulling it out, if it comes out easily the door gasket needs replacing
