Hello, I thought Vista was retired some time ago through being a little unreliable. Now as far as Windows XP even though it was an old favorite there is no comparison in what it did and Windows 10, I have both a Surface Pro 4 tablet computer and a desktop both have Windows 10. I do wonder why people stay with even XP as it is not supported by Microsoft now and that in itself is a great risk. Thanks.

Microsoft... | Answered on Feb 16, 2015 | 166 views will have the Vista CD in a Wim form. The Business edition, and all other editons, are all on a single image but you have to research how to create an iso of the version you want out of the Wim provided. will give you some instructions on creating a boot disk or usb device.

and finally, this sight has more detail

Now, having said that, remember if you are going to create and use a DVD of Windows Vista for Business you must have a legal COA (license key) and it must be used under the right licensing agreement. In general that means you can't use just any key from any place you happen to get it. You must use a unique key ... usually one that nobody else is using... and it must be for the type of system (brand make and model) for which it was sold. It is technically possible to sometimes ignore these rules, but not ethically possible. Just a reminder that software piracy is stealing.

good luck

Corrupted profile probably. Using your vista disk, boot up and choose repair my computer (pushing F8 instead of using the disk might work, can't remember right now)

Going from memory here so forgive me if i miss a step but you can skip automatically check for errors and go straight to SYSTEM RESTORE. Choose a point a day or two ago and let it do it's thing. Once done (even if it says failed) reboot and try to log in again.

If that still doesn't work repeat the system restore process and choose a further back date. Repeat this as needed.

This sounds like a failed update. Restart the computer and hit either F2 or F8 or possibly Tab or Delete once the splash screen comes up. This should give you a windows startup option for safe mode. Click Safe Mode with Networking and let the computer startup. This will bypass all current startup items and possible problematic services. Login and start up Task Manager. View startup items and look to see if anything is starting up that says "Windows Update" or if anything else stands out that shouldn't be there. Names that are random garbled letters, etc. Disable these for normal startup. Now click on control panel under start menu and go to windows update and see if any updates failed to install. If they did, disable install automatically in windows update.

After this go to "run" and type in msconfig. Click normal startup, hit apply, when the message that says "restart computer" pops up click yes and let it restart the computer normally.

Microsoft... | Answered on Sep 16, 2014 | 84 views you can use other software like isoburn or imgburn usually to make a bootable usb if you use that program probably or windows password reset. I have done it before and just boot to usb by pressing f12 or whatever function key gets you to your boot options. If you want you could also change boot device order in bios settings but then you need to change them back after, so its more steps than necessary. I personally haven't used ophcrack but I'm sure it works similarly to the other password recovery software. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Update your Adobe flash player software to the latest version:

If that doesn't fix it you might have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

Download, Install and Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:
When Installing choose the non-pro version.

Download, Unzip, Install and Run TDSSKiller:

Download, Install and Run Super Anti-Spyware:

If you have an outdated Anti-virus program then Download, Install and Run Avira Anti-Virus:
Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira...

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

You have to proxy or vpn around it, the sonic wall could be looking out for those things that. A simple way is to install logmein on your home comp. Connect to it and surf the web from there.

Check the size of Random Access Memory (RAM) in your computer. Its small size could be the reason for this problem as many of today's software need large amount of memory to operate in smooth manner. Additional RAM will also increase the efficiency of your computing particularly for gaming.
• Excessive use of computer or a malfunctioning cooling system can make computer/laptop overheated. Whenever system is heated, its efficiency will go down. BSOD is one possible consequence of over heated system. Keep fan of your computer in fully functional mode.
• Registry is the most vital part of Win 7. Corrupt registry is the biggest reason for BSOD in Win 7. One way is to clean registry manually but manual tricks could wreck your system completely if you are not a top notch computer expert. More appropriate way is to buy a good registry cleaner reg ion out and PC optimizer
