I dumped some melted wax into my kitchen sink. Tried drain cleaner. Tried an auger. Only limited success. Is there a solvent I can use?

Possibly Parrafin Wax or Kerrosine Wax. Petrol will shift it.

Dishwasher says rinse aid is empty when it isn't. Kitchen aid model kuds24se.

This is most likely a faulty sensor. This sensor is usually located inside the dishwasher and can be replaced relatively easily. If you have used the rinse aid recently, you can try running a cycle with it enabled to see if it makes a difference. You may need to manually re-calibrate the sensor according to the instructions stated in your user manual.

How will I make a depository for my water waste in our kitchen sink? We have no standard canal or water waste passage because our neighborhood doesn't like it.

There are a few options for creating a depository for your kitchen sink water waste:
  1. Install a greywater system: This is a plumbing system that diverts your sink water to an outdoor holding tank or directly to your garden. It requires some professional installation, but can be a long-term solution.
  2. Use a bucket or basin: Place a large bucket or basin under your sink to collect the water waste, and then empty it outside or use it to water plants.
  3. Create a DIY drain system: Build a simple drain system using PVC pipes, a large bucket or barrel, and some gravel and sand. This can be an affordable and effective solution, but may require some handyman skills.
Whichever option you choose, it's important to make sure your water waste is disposed of safely and responsibly to prevent contamination and potential health hazards.

Is it still possible to obtain a replacement water pump for a Siemans Lady 45 dishwasher

It is possible to obtain a replacement water pump for a Siemens Lady 45 dishwasher, but it may be difficult to find one as the dishwasher is no longer being produced and may be considered an older model. One option could be to check with Siemens directly to see if they still have any replacement parts available for the Lady 45 dishwasher. They may also be able to provide you with the contact information for a authorized service center near you. Another option could be to check with appliance repair companies or online retailers that specialize in selling replacement parts for older appliances. These companies may have a limited stock of replacement water pumps or similar parts that can be used as a replacement. It is also possible that the water pump can be replaced by a compatible one from other brands, in this case you can check with a appliance repair technician or parts supplier to see what other options are available.

Replace the water drain assembly! no power display but I can hear the water drain pump

If your refrigerator is not displaying power, but you can hear the water drain pump running, the issue may be related to the water drain assembly. Here are a few steps you can try to replace the water drain assembly:
  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source.
  2. Locate the water drain assembly. It is typically located at the bottom of the refrigerator near the back.
  3. Drain any remaining water from the assembly by disconnecting the drain hose.
  4. Remove the old water drain assembly by unscrewing or unclipping it from the refrigerator.
  5. Install the new water drain assembly by reversing the steps used to remove the old one.
  6. Reconnect the drain hose and plug the refrigerator back in.
It is important to refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific instructions on how to replace the water drain assembly on your refrigerator, as the process may vary depending on the model and design. Does anyone know where I can buy an Under counter bracket

Dishwashers usually come in a metal case Sophie that you just slide in. The built in ones have a frame. Unfortunately there is no way for me to research because you don't share the 'make and model'. With that, I would be searching make model installation and from that, it will show the parts and the part numbers. From that we Google make (part number) Or ask the friend for the bracket. Easy eh?

Error A on my dishwasher on all settings hose not blocked

Error A on a dishwasher typically indicates a problem with the water supply. If the hose is not blocked and you are still experiencing this error, there are a few potential causes and steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the water inlet valve: The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the dishwasher. Make sure it is not clogged or blocked and that it is functioning properly.
  2. Check the water pressure: Make sure that the water pressure to the dishwasher is adequate. The dishwasher needs a minimum water pressure to function properly.
  3. Check the water fill level: Make sure that the dishwasher is filling with the correct amount of water. If the dishwasher is overfilling or underfilling, it can cause this error to appear.
  4. Check the float switch: The float switch is responsible for detecting the water level in the dishwasher. Make sure that it is functioning properly and that it is not stuck.
  5. Check the control board: The control board is responsible for controlling the various functions of the dishwasher. If it is malfunctioning, it can cause this error to appear.
  6. Check the fill hose: Make sure that the fill hose is not kinked or bent and that there is no air lock in the hose.
  7. Check the drain hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or blocked.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's best to consult the dishwasher's manual for specific troubleshooting steps or contact the manufacturer for further assistance. It may also be best to take it to a professional technician if the problem persist.
