F03 - Sulfate or Unchargeable Battery

Appears when the battery is highly sulfated and cannot accept normal charge current.

• Follow the steps in "Recondition Mode" to recondition the battery.

• Follow the steps in "Equalizing" to equalize the battery.

• If the situation persists after reconditioning and equalizing, we recommend taking your battery to a certified automotive service center for evaluation

You didn't say if a battery was connected. The fault light tells you there is a problem with the battery. If no battery is connected and the fault light is lit then there is an internal fault with the charger.

Hopefully you are actually referring to a Vector VEC060 Power Inverter 175/350 Watt DC/AC as I cannot find a listing for a Vector 350 in the flashlight or spotlight listings. The external fuse for the Vector VEC060 Power Inverter is a standard 30A spade type fuse available at any auto parts store. Hi Stephen: 3 possibles that I can think of: 1) Burnt out bulb 2) Battery no good 3) On/Off switch or internal wire not working.

Quick look at the manual tells me that it is a 12v light, powered by two 6 volt batteries. This means that they must be connected in series. Identify the positive and negative terminals on each battery. You also need to look at how the power is supplied to the unit - i.e., are the batteries connected front to back? The jumper of one battery will connect to the negative terminal to the positive terminal of the second battery (this is a series configuration.) Make sure the batteries are oriented in the proper position in the unit before sealing it up. I replaced the battery in mine(coleman powermate) for 10 bucks but you have to be careful in how you disassemble it and put it back together. Batteries sulfate after awhile like a car battery.
